CREATING LITTLE MOMENTS OF HAPPINESS Lia The Lovely Is Here What a nice young lady was Niamh...but she's gone now and the Lovely Lia has taken her place and she must be the best toasted cheese sandwich maker since the dawn of the toasted sandwich ...and for the great price of €4.90...wow

A LITTLE ADVICE ...When u wash salad leaves and leave in a bowl all day they quickly start to rot/go black ...wash when needed is best

Last time the apple tart had eggs in it which is totally uneccessary as people have been making apple pies since the dawn of the apple without using eggs and they are no less tasty...it's just another way for the food industry to exploit animals for quick profit... ... and although the managers have written here that they would review their eggs policy still today on enquiring if the rhubarb tart had eggs I was told it had... Whats the need ...our mothers made pies without eggs since forever and they were wonderful so get rid of the eggs and don't support the torturous conditions that hens have to endure to produce them...no fresh air, no sunlight, twenty four hour artificial lights, imported GMO feed, hormone laced water and overcrowded conditions ...show some humanity ...or I'll have to get my cheese...

We're do I start with this place. Ordered a ham and cheese toastie and halloumi toastie. We were asked what did we want on the side chips or salad so we thought this was included. Asked for a kids chips and sausage. When I got up to the till. Told the girl what I ordered she said did you get a side with the sandwich. I thought it was included was charged €38.00 for the lot with 2 7ups and a small carton of juice for kid. Now the halloumi sandwich only came on one slice of bread didn't get any other slice on top and was burnt . The kids meal one mean sausage and over cooked chips. I Went to dunnes stores upstairs last week when we were out for the day and we got basically the same food and was only charged €17.80 kids meal came with drink and a bar and 2 sausages. Better food in Dunnes stores. Great space. This place it's impossible to get a pushchair and yourself a sitting place as every chair and table are on top of the walk ways and people sitting on top of each other. I would of got a nice meal for the 2 of us and a kids meal for the price of what I paid hear. Over priced over cooked small portions food. Staff not nice or helpful. Just throwing food out no receipt either giving. Would...

I came to Synge and Byrne to try their food for the first time. I went to the counter and tried to order a dish, and I tried to explain what side I wanted to accompany my dish. However, I was served by a rude older lady of Asian ethnicity that blatantly told me, ā€œYeah yeah pay firstā€ and even after I tried to explain what side I wanted again, I was cut off with the same ā€œYeah pay firstā€

I’ve seen this Asian lady in the store a few times, and one of my colleagues even bought food from there and also shared their distaste for the worker. She honestly ruins the entire vibe of the store (her poor attitude) and I think that she should work on her customer communication skills as I work in retail myself and she couldn’t have been any more rude.

Overall, I didn’t even get to finish my order because she just wanted me to pay straight away without letting me finish what I wanted to order. I ended up just paying whatever anyways because I dislike confrontation and got my food from another worker that was much kinder.

Dear Synge and Byrne, please review the cranky old Asian lady that can’t do her job properly. If she’s a manager then God...

Good quality for the price you pay. Vegan sausage roll was perfectly seasoned and pleasantly surprised to discover it was a vegetable type filling rather than a fake meat. Kids meal portion size was good too and skin on fries were good quality and not greasy. Ice coffee was only ok, but coffee is so subjective others might like it. Pineapple soda was interesting and a quirky option, tasted nice. They have a loyalty card too which I think they should promote before you order! All in all a good experience, will be back.

Took a chance in here cause it looked nice however 12.10 for a tea and a ham and cheese toastie ! Sandwich had one slice of meat on it and a lot of cheese . I actually had to ask was the price correct . A lump of coleslaw on side which I didn’t want and turned my stomach looking at it Never again. felt ripped off . Better value for the same lunch can be had in the centre .
