Little Italy Pizzeria Cafe is a great pizzeria in Killarney located just off of the Milk Market car park. We were with a group of friends and we needed a place that had room for 6 and found this to be the perfect local on a sunny day.
Staff: The staff are very friendly and were very attentive.
Food: They offer a wide variety of delicious freshly made pizzas as well as pasta. The pizza that I got was the "Diavola". The spicy sausage and pepperoni was delicious! The crust was perfect and the centre was cooked perfectly with gooey fresh cheese and a delicious tomato sauce!
Outdoor Seating: I am not sure if there was seating inside however, there is ample room outdoors. They have a number of decent sized tables as well and our group had more than enough room to sit down!
Wheelchair Accessibility: The outdoor area is spacious with room for to maneuver around tables for wheelchair users. I did not use the restrrom so I am not sure if there is a wheelchair friendly toilet but hopefully I am wrong.
Overall: Little Italy Pizzeria Cafe is a wonderful location to sit out and enjoy your food, especially when the sun is shining. The pizzas are great and I am looking forward to the next time I am...
Read moreFirst time I have ever wrote a review of a restaurant. I had chicken wings for starter and the carbonara with chicken for main. The first of the chicken wings was cold the next few were warm and the last one was cold. Said it to the waitress and she brought it to the kitchen who confirmed the were cold. They then told me they would discount the starter from my bill which I thanked them for. Main course was nice. Table Staff 5 out of 5 At the end of the meal I got charged €9 for the starter with a €3 discount for the two frozen or cold wings. When I pointed it out to the manager she stated that the rest were eaten and couldn't understand why they were cold as they don't use frozen wings 🤔 I paid the bill in full to the manager and she gave me my change from the tip jar. Classic Management 0 out of 5 Absolutely the worst bit of management I have ever witnessed on all the jobs and places I have being. If this is the way she treats her customers, I wouldn't like to be one of the staff. Sometimes it is nothing to...
Read moreWould like to share the owners response to my review which was accusatory. Any good restaurant is willing to constructive criticism. In response, I would like to add I was seated by a staff menu and waited quite some time before waving down a waiter for a menu. I didn't seat myself. I waited over 25 minutes for the main and then when I enquired when using the toilet, the waiter was surprised I hadn't received my main and said that the kitchen had forgot. The main then came out within a couple of minutes, proving that the mains don't usually take 25 minutes. The pasta was undercooked and I am aware what 'al dente' is, this pasta was still hard and obviously rushed, never mind the sauce very unserseasoned. I have dined here before and it was fine but the standards have most definitely slipped. The owners response was very disappointing. There were also very strict rules for staff on display behind the till which are...
