Went for lunch today and ordered a oat chai latte. When the latte was served and I drank some of it I thought the taste was not of oat milk. I asked the waitress to check if it was oat milk. She came back and said it wasn't and asked would she take it away then. Well yes!! I am highly intolerant to dairy and got sick before leaving the premises. I went to the counter and explained what happened and one of the staff got aggressive and argued with me that she did not give me cows milk. 3 of the other staff confirmed to her that they in fact did. Her tone was rude and she didn't offer any apology. Another staff member said I'm vegan so we trying our best. Vegan is a choice being dairy intolerant is a condition. Try our best? That's not good enough !! Its not good enough to pay 20 euros for your meal to puke it out. Pity coz the...

I have to say I was a bit disappointed with the food at Marguerite's. I ordered a Caesar salad for the steep price of 17,95 €—the chicken was overcooked, and the salad was drenched in dressing. Normally, I wouldn’t mind a generous amount of sauce, but this time it was a bit overwhelming.

Additionally, there were quite a few flies. While the weather was beautiful and the open doors created a pleasant atmosphere, having flies buzzing around while eating wasn’t ideal.

That said, the service was lovely. I just think a bit more attention to presentation and the preparation of certain dishes would go a long way.

Edit: My grandmother, who has celiac disease, had an allergic reaction after eating at the restaurant. I would strongly advise others to be cautious about potential...

Really nice little restaurant on one of the main streets in Killarney, but still a bit tucked away from the center. Inside the restaurant it was really nice and cozy, and after a long day of hiking, this was such a great spot to unwind and revisit the best parts of our hike.

I had the chicken curry and loved it. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the curry was creamy and full of flavour.

My partner decided to go with a simple burger and fries, and despite Ireland cooking their burgers medium-well by default (apparently most places in Ireland won't do less than medium-well done!) it was very flavourful, and the fries were nice and crisp as well.

Would definitely visit again if I'm ever back...

We wanted a bit of a change for brunch while in Killarney. We went upstairs to the restaurant and the server cleared off a window table. (11/6 clerk #2) Another couple was getting ready to sit there before she was done cleaning off the widow table. The server politely mentioned that she was already cleaning that window table off my wife and myself. The food was excellent the server was super nice, quick and professional. We would highly recommend it.

Pleased to find this bakery/ restaurant; restaurant upstairs with windows looking out on the busy street below. They were very friendly and accomodating to single patrons- could sit where I wanted. It must have the best prices in town for an early bird menu. Everything was delicious and fresh: the salmon on toast, beef guinness stew and plenty of desserts including a slice of delicious apple cake. I will dine there again.
