Five stars for the craic first off. Loved this pub when I was going to UL, always went in here with friends to spend the day watching horse racing, we had some session the day I backed a 100/1 winner !

This pub is sports, and in particular horse racing mad. They also do great live music. The pub itself is a 7-8 minute walk from the city centre and it's a real locals spot with a great community spirit a lot of the regulars live (literally) a few doors away !

The owner and barman Paddy is cracked, this fellow was born to run a pub, you'll get a great laugh and a great welcome if...

Charlies is the best pub in Limerick, to have the craic with locals, listen to live music or meet someone nice. I've lived in Limerick 20 years and never experienced anything like it. Genuine warm hospitality like the great feast of the harvest fair or enjoying a Christmas drink with returned emigrants. Paddy the owner is a great character and sure to bring a smile to your face. You simply won't be disappointed. 10 out of 10 Not to mention...

I live near this pub. They make a lot of noise during the mornings when they are loading and unloading the beer barrels. This happens at 5.40 in the morning. The noise is so loud and unbearable. During Thursday nights especially the noise of people screaming and beating bottles is very loud too. They should respect more the people who live near the Pub and not make...
