The food here is always delicious, whether it's take away, or sitting in. We sat in this time. There are 3 tables downstairs which understandably, the staff fill first, upstairs is a larger room with tables, & a nicer atmosphere. The atmosphere downstairs is not exactly great. It was a Friday night, & there were so many people coming in to collect takeaways (a testimony to how nice the food is) that there was a constant run of traffic from the kitchen with just eat drivers, & people standing watching you eat while waiting for their food. If this place had a little bit of a make over, & used the top part only for sitting in, & the downstairs for food collection, I think they'd get more diners wanting to sit in. Stumbled on this place in our travels, BEST Indian food. Before writing this review I read some very negative reviews, all for delivery (something going on there). I can only suggest, for people who love Indian food, to dine AT this restaurant as we did.

We sat downatairs. Owner was pleasant throughout, patient and friendly, attentive.

Garlic Naan was delicious and HUGE - one order would have been enough for two people. Side of Raita amazing, chunks of cool cucumber, amazing spices. Delicious trio of sauces/chutneys. Main courses we went with classics, not dissapointed: Chicken Tika Masala & Saag Paneer. Not typical, BETTER!

Terrible Service, Tasteless Food & Arrogant Staff – NEVER AGAIN!

Absolutely awful experience at Garam Masala Restaurant! We had to wait more than 90 minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was tasteless and disappointing. And the worst part is when we gave honest feedback about the food, the staff at the reception was straight-up arrogant and dismissive instead of listening. No apology, no accountability—just attitude.

If you enjoy wasting your time and money on overpriced, flavorless food with shockingly slow service and rude staff, this place is for you. Otherwise, AVOID IT! Plenty of better...
