Had lunch here yesterday opted for chicken and mushroom vol-au-vent with fries, my company had quiche lorraine with fries and vegetable soup with a toasted ham, cheddar and ballymaloe relish which was delicious. We then had lattes, tea, apple pie & cream, chocolate muffin and chocolate cake. Space a bit tight and extremely warm, hence witholding a star, but would recommend this cafe.

We had never tried this place out before so queuing system was confusing and staff were only being friendly to people who were clearly regulars. Breakfast was okay but my plate had butter and sauce all along the side which made it really sticky. Pastries were nice but I don't think it's a good spot for sit in dining - more for takeaway

Moorland Cafe is a cosy and friendly place to enjoy fresh and tasty food. Their Irish breakfast, sandwiches and buns are delicious and satisfying. The service is fast and efficient, and the prices are reasonable. A great spot for a quick food or a sweet treat.

Very disapointed.... As usual for here, i had to go here today (sunday) because Burkes cafe which is 100% better with a much nicer customer experience and way nicer food and staff does not open on a sunday... Pity, so i had to make do with the mooreland and as usual from the second you get to the counter the disapointment starts, the staff must go through extensive ignorance training to get the job, its unbelievable how ignorant they are and the depressing faces of unhappiness on them turns the flavour of your food sour and ruins the meal, they also find it extremely difficult to follow a simple set of instructions because even when given a simple order they manage to get it wrong, the bread was stale which is ridiculous considering they have their own brand of breads so bread should be fresh at all times any day of the week, absolute horrible customer experience, something should be done about this because everyone says the same thing except the fake reviews they obviously pay people to put up, my advice is to avoid if at all possible and go to Burkes or the Copper kettle where the food and service is proper, again what a pity about the mooreland its an extremely bad example of a good idea, it should be...

It was crowded, very few sitting places available. Downstairs had smell of toilets. Narrow walk by the counters, people were bumping into each other, standing in a way with trays. Got Irish breakfast, dry puddings, all very flavourless, as I don't usually like rashers, here it was the nicest bit on a plate. On positive note the egg yolk was runny, and latte was OK. There's counter with sweet options that looked very tempting and fresh, but I would not recommend the Irish Breakfast for sure. We paid 15e each for food and coffee. Parked on paid parking away few minutes walk...

Cutlery definitely needs to be washed better. I picked up 3 different forks before i started eating as all the others were noticeably filthy and even a member of staff agreed. Was left waiting 45 minutes for a toasted sandwich, I'm not even sure how that happened. The place needs a good clean overall. Most staff are friendly and easy to talk to but some are rude and and make you feel unwelcomed. Was once a great place to grab lunch, now it is one of my least favourite...
