Sarsfield's — Restaurant in The Borough District of Drogheda

Nice traditional looking, kept location. Glad to see the people over it, not rushing to update it with all things shiny and in your face. Easy to feel comfortable in the location.

Place easily accommodates large numbers and individuals on own or with partner. If there was one suggestion to make, it would be in a marketing direction and its location to things historic near by. Then again, a few other locations near by need to similar up their game too.

The pub is just passing Laurance's gate and it doesn't seem to be as huge as it is from outside. Once you enter you have the main bar, then the lounge and after an even bigger beer pub with an extra outside sitting area. I'd recommend to put speakers on the beer garden to improve the atmosphere a little bit.

The staff is gentle and they help you if you hold lot of beers!

Amazing beer garden and great selection of beer. Nice place for dates. I was there during the fleadh and there were plenty of musicians in there having a great time. A few locals recommended it too so you know your going somewhere good. It's next to the gate too so if you need an excuse to go to a pub, you can always say you want to...
