Uncle Pan Cafe — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Bray

I first entered this establishment on the 19th of April 2024 at precisely 12 o’clock , I was greeted at the door with utter most unpleasant attitude by the waiter he shoved a menu in my hand and nodded to a table to which he expected me to sit at. The table was filthy and as I peered to my right there was what some would call a “ fish tank “ the water was black and the fish looked disheveled and hungry. When it was time to order I was greeted with a “ what do u want “ as the waiter pulled a sour face. As me and my associate placed our orders she was refused a glass of milk with her toastie from the kids menu .when are food finally came my bacon was discolored and my associates toastie seemed as if the toastie lines were painted on. As I sunk my teeth into the stale Caesar wrap I was greeted with a fowl smell of sulfur. Suddenly I got this weird feeling in my mouth and couldn’t quite put my finger on it , until my associate pointed out that there was Indeed a pubic hair in between my teeth . As my associate finished up her meal I tried to flag down a staff member to tell them about the incident and they said there was nothing they could do and made me pay full price . Food was pretty good although, service was terrible, the staff were rude, and the menu was very deceiving.

It also does NOT comply with COVID-19 regulations. No hand sanitisers, no cleaning of the tables, in fact when we asked for the tables to be cleaned, she came out with a hand brush, which was located previously on the floor, which she proceeded to wipe the table down with.

The condiments were out of date and the staff ensued up shouting at us from across the shop when we asked a questioned. And when we queried about the misleading menu we were given rude responses such as “go look yourself”.

The food, as previously mentioned is nice, but not worth the risk of catching coronavirus. I would highly recommend staying away from this establishment until you...

I don’t usually left a bad comment to any restaurant. However, this place has extremely rude staff they treated us in an unacceptable way.

We just wanted to buy a coffee and all the conversation from the barista rebuke against us which I didn’t see before. Then, she said us to wait outside of the coffee. We were only standing silently.

On top of that, the price of a regular latte is €4.95 which probably most expensive coffee in Dublin. Worst price/quality.
