McCloskey's Bakery — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Dundalk

This is a hard review to write because of my experience there at lunchtime. On the one hand, the sandwiches were fresh and ingredients were good. No complaints about the food. On the other hand, the service needs attention. There seemed to be one young man working very hard, another woman on a call the entire (45min) worth of our stay and another girl coming and going. Out of the 12 ish tables there, 8 were dirty. The place was also entirely empty. I always refuse to go in when there’s a certain woman working. I love the soup and regularly get take away but refuse to pay for 2/3 of a cup that won’t even fill a bowl never mind a cup and pay €5.50. The other girls will give you the full amount but no matter how many times I ask the woman never fills the cup. She has brown hair and possibly in her 40s who doesn’t ever seem happy enough to be working there. Disappointed with the service. My daughter was treated badly in the shop on Thursday. She felt discriminated against. Every Thursday she goes there with her friends after school to eat. Even her friends asked why they were treating you like this. She said this was the first she ever felt like this. Please give equal respect to all customers whether they are of any nationality, especially to school children they are learning from you. I stopped her from going there...
