I've been a regular for a while now, the place has seen new management, and I now see the reputation of the restaurant diminishing. It's such a shame because the previous owners had worked very hard to reach and set a great standard. The last few months with the new owner only 1 or 2 meals have been worth the money and the rest have been quite bad, as I write this review I'm ill from a takeaway I got last night. I've noticed the behaviour of the new management has also resulted in the departure of a lot of employees, the atmosphere of the restaurant is not as comfortable as it once was. It is important to consider how the customer feels when they enter a restaurant, do you want them to feel like you just want their money and to hand them mediocre dishes. Or do you want people to come in and feel welcomed with a warm atmosphere and food that reflects prices and better. The restaurant would be considered clean, with lighting complementing the graphics, details and colours throughout the eatery. The servers are always polite and give you a sense of everything is going to be a comfortable experience and are very impressionable for all the good reasons, this has been my experience anyways. To conclude, the problems the restaurant faces are due to lack of consideration from management, failing to understand how important it is to create an ambience where customers will want to become more interested to be a regular. The customer notices a lot more than they might let on, but choose not to voice their opinions to avoid conflict. Certain employees can be appreciated to this day, but unfortunately, I predict theses employees won't be around for too long. I suspect a high turnover of staff within the future if management does not rectify issues and treat their staff with the respect they deserve. They are the reason why service can be good or bad and can be the reason why profit can be excellent, good, okay, bad, terrible. So invest in your staff. Update: Gave this place another try and the food was nice twice in a row…. Went for the third time lucky and I was disappointed and not too surprised. I called the restaurant and spoke to manaj (restaurant manager) and he simply did not care what I had to say, talking over me with irrelevant reasons as to why the dish was not up to par “vegan food has a very different taste to (NORMAL!) food” (Very rude!). He then proceeded to blame the wok, then the cooking process, then the ingredients, then my palate due to the food being vegan and apparently not normal food. then he went on to say his meat is fresh meat even tho I had no issue with meat. I had to explain to Manaj that my wife is vegan for almost 20 years and that I sometimes go vegan and we both enjoy vegan meals from Camile although the vegan foods can often be quite poor at this restaurant roughly 60% good 40% bad in my experience. After I told Manaj that I am very familiar with vegan foods and that I know what to expect in regards to my palate! (Very rude), he starts to blame the temperature of the food in the cooking process! Manaj then contradicts everything he blames by then adding that he has hired a new head wok chef with 5 years plus experience and then In short says that because of this new chef my food could not have been bad! (WOW). This man did not want to listen to my constructive criticism and chose to let his ego shift into gear, this additional review could have been avoided with appropriate customer service, I am more annoyed at the lack of customer service than the food, not to mention the patronising behaviour, and making me and my wife feel different because vegan food is not “normal “. I entered the restaurant on Sunday when it should be busy before Christmas….the tables were empty…I wonder why. There is a massive difference in atmosphere from when the previous owners were in charge until now it was happy and warm. I have exceeded the limit of words or characters in this review, please see attached photos to see my full review.

Discovered this restaurant by chance and we didn't regret it! Very kind and helpful service, lovely food for a good price, and topped of with an unexpected ice cream. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options and large portions. Nobody of our company could finish their dish, so all of us received a doggybag which was kindly filled by a lovely waitress. Highly recommended place whenever you're in Navan!!!

Was my second order, i was dissapointed on my first one but still i gave it a try, ordered prawn rice and collected it came back work opened and it was noodles instead of rice, had to pay for the delivery again to change it, rice was some poor quality rice from some cheap grocery store, tasted very bad, wont recommend to anyone. Check the rice quality in the pictures.

Edit: Since posting this review, I have been speaking with management who dealt with this case very seriously and professionally. Decided to order from Camile a third time after they called me and apologised and everything was perfect! Food was incredible. Staff were friendly and helpful when ordering over the phone. When I went in to collect my order I could tell changes were made to ensure this didn't happen to anyone again. It was a very busy Saturday night so staff were assigned to checking orders as they were going out to ensure they were correct. I was more than satisfied with my order this time round and I am very glad this has been resolved as their food is the best Thai in Navan. Changing my 1 star to a 5.

Ordered through website for my boyfriend and I. I got the vegan Thai green curry with tofu paid via card €12.99. Took the takeaway home and discovered they gave me a small tub of curry with no veg or tofu. Looked at menu discovered what they gave me was worth €2, not what I ordered. Rang and the young girl I was speaking to seemed very inexperienced. Finally put credit on my account for my next order.

When I rang back the following week to claim my free meal, everything was perfect except that there was no satay sauce with the starter tofu that I ordered, as it says on menu. Instead got a box of dry tofu for €5.99, without sauce it was bland. Also ordered honey roasted cashew nuts for my boyfriend worth €2 but they gave us honey roasted peanuts instead. He is allergic to peanuts so very lucky I tried one before he ate one and had an allergic reaction.

I am extremely disappointed with Camile Navan as the ones in Dublin I have ordered from before are always on point and this is twice in a row they got my order wrong. Didn't bother ringing back the second time I ordered as I didn't feel their customer service was helpful enough the first time I rang. Also, I didn't put in a bad review the first time they messed my order up as I gave them a chance to fix it the second time I ordered but this was not the case.

Clearly staff are just too ignorant to care or either they are not trained well enough, if at all in the areas of customer service and the basics of putting an order together correctly. Such a pity as food is amazing and nowhere in Navan has such a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes. I will not be ordering again and I wouldn't recommend ordering from here to avoid the sheer disappointment of your order...

While we comprehend that there were difficulties with the computers due to a leak, the problems with our order caused significant inconvenience. We placed our order at 17:26, and after 90 minutes, the food had yet to arrive. We contacted the restaurant, and they explained the system issues and assured us that the food would be delivered shortly. We agreed and waited patiently. Approximately 30 minutes after the phone call, the food arrived. The delivery driver was very kind and apologetic for the delay. Upon checking our order, we discovered that two items were missing. We contacted the restaurant again, and the lady who answered apologized and informed us that the missing items would be delivered immediately. However, it took an additional 40 minutes for them to arrive at our residence. In total, it took almost 3 hours from the time we placed our order until we were finally able to...
