Came in for a pint and to watch the match with my boyfriend, this past bank holiday weekend. Prices are the same as everywhere else. However this is definitely what you would deem as an “old man pub”. As a young woman I felt uncomfortable, even with my boyfriend next to me. There is plenty other pubs in the area if you’re similar to me and would get uncomfortable from being stared at. Overall just wasn’t my cup of tea and I would not come here again.

Ernie's is a perfect pub. The team working in there are incredibly friendly and efficient at keeping the busy bar running. The locals are all just as friendly and happy to leave you to it or invite you in for chats, whatever your choice. It has a lovely dark wood and leather finish and front and back smoking areas / beer gardens. Best pub in Wicklow town (oh and you know, the pints aren't...

Warm inviting and wonderful. Highly recommend. We met some of the locals and they could not have been more generous with their warmth, wit and kindness. 10 stars for a true pub experience.
