Steeped in history regarding St. Patrick and his first attempt to come ashore and set foot on the island of Ireland. (Stroll to the pier wall to read the sign beside the flag pole to learn more.)

This little cove is the goto spot for most of Wicklow Town’s all year round sea swimmers. From sunrise to lunchtime you’ll find someone in the sea absorbing the zen from the sea or catching the sun on their face as they embrace the cold of the sea without the protection of a wetsuit.

A great place for a social chat and a coffee after your dip as you’ll find the seasoned swimmers pitched on deck chairs, wrapped in their Dry Robes, sipping on a hot coffee from their flask.

A note of caution not to swim too far out unless you fancy fighting a strong current wanting to take you North...

One of our fave spots to go for a stroll, one of the best spots to go hunting for sea glass or seal spotting. Also a popular spot for sea swimmers. It's our favourite spot for a bag of chips from Francesco's.
