Breada respects the pastries but does not respect the coffee and the customers. I arrived on Saturday morning near the opening, stood in the long line, got to the cash register and was met by two cashiers and a barista who, even though it was only the beginning of the day, looked worn out. The queue management does not respect those who are waiting, those who ordered and the restaurant's occupants. It's a repeat experience in Breada, but because it's so delicious there, I keep coming back. But today, beyond the long wait for the coffee, I realized that I over charged (I guess by mistake), I approached the cashier with a big smile and tried to explain to her that I was over charged, she asked me, with a frozen face, to wait. I waited. And I waited. And meanwhile she served more than three new clients. so I went away. She made an attempt to call me. I won't go back to Breada anymore, because when I choose to eat outside , it's important to me that it will be tasty and enjoyable but at Breada it is...
Read moreFantastic little find in downtown Haifa, perfect for breakfast, a coffee date or a takeaway snack. There was a wide variety of sandwiches and pastries - both sweet and savory - all delicious and you can taste the high-quality ingredients.

The other girl at the store was nice enough so I might have fallen on the wrong person on a bad day.
Either way, I would come back because the food and coffee were great and the vibe in the seating area outside was casual and relaxed. I just hope they apply their high standards in food to the...
Read moreA super cute bakery that's also open on Saturdays! We weren't that hungry but still we couldn't resist the looks of the pastries, so we had to try some of the savory ones.
We ordered 3 different pastries, the first was the asparagus, mozzarella and parmesan pastry that was very good and loaded with cheese. The second one we tried was the caprese-pesto pretzel which was a bit dry, but the mozzarella had a very milky rich flavor. Lastly, the best one of the batch by far was the parmesan-garlic-lemon escargot that had deep flavors of each of the ingredients, and the dough was super flaky and crispy.
Next time we'll visit I'll have to try some of the sweet pastries as well, as they all looked...
