Fattoush Bar — Restaurant in Haifa

Atmosphere inside is quite cool. Outside a train will scream by every few minutes, so be aware. Drinks-did not try but the prices seemed outlandish, so chose to skip. Service: fairly good! Charismatic honest waiter, no issues communicating in English if that’s a requirement for you.

Ordered nachos, fish & chips, as well as the ceviche. We don’t eat meat or dairy, and they were able to accommodate that.

Nachos: I am almost 100% sure we were served a bag of Doritos (possibly nacho flavor?) in a basket with tiny sides of: an avocado sauce I cannot call guacamole, sweet chili sauce out of a bottle, & some aioli with garlic & mustard seed (the aioli was good).

Fish & chips: tasted like catfish, under salted, no vinegar, fries were good. Another filet for the price would not hurt. Nothing special though the fish was fresh.

Ceviche: bland, with a sesame baton plopped unceremoniously on top. I did omit the labneh & asked for it on the side (they did not bring it) but I don’t anticipate it would turn the whole dish around. Not enough acidity in the dish. Not enough of anything, really. I do believe that I won’t get food poisoning from eating it, so I am grateful for that.

Overall: come for a show, perhaps try a drink? They’d have to be phenomenal to justify the price. Very instagrammable establishment with a good vibe. But seems overhyped & overpriced if you actually come to...

Beautiful, aesthetic, well designed alternative-y themed restaurant: I liked the Graffiti on the walls The outside garden is beautiful I really like how they incorporated board and table games for free for the restaurant guests to enjoy their time. probably one of the better looking and quiet spots here in Haifa.

The service was quite well recieved, the waiters and the hostess were very pleasant, and the waiting time was quick.

Other than that, as a restaurant, there's not much else to add, and I digress: The Menu is expensive The Menu offered for such a big restaurant is small, and disorganized. The portions for the price are not really justified, Aka the portions are small, and this is definitely not a Gourmet restaurant for the portion/price ratio to be so big. The food was well made and delicious, but again, this is not Gourmet level, its more of a high mid-range restaurant. and the food was on that level, and this is why I specifically have an issue with the price/portion ratio.

Well, it's really well designed Bar, you can see that they care about all the details in the design. Very good location, you can find free parking 2 minutes walk away. The style and the music is something you can't judge, it is all about your taste. I liked it. Service : I think we came on their first days of offering services instead of self-service only. And it was very slow although the guys are nice and welcomed. But u can still use the self-service . The only negative thing is the food. Even though it's not restaurant , but they can offer much better dishes and salads that what they do. The names of the dishes are much more exciting than the dish it self. In addition, the portions are very small. I saw alot of people drinking only, so they did know that fact before.... Have something to eat before u get there. Book before. The restaurant is extremely busy on weekends so u have to book days before. Because u will wait outside for a long time. I believe they will improve the quality of food...
