Cremerie De L'eclair — Restaurant in Haifa

I must say that I am truly disappointed in this shop, I can wholeheartedly say that almost everything that I tried on the menu is amazing. My main issue is that I have never seen any shop adjust their prices in such a steep way in so little time. Almost everything on the menu got 40% more expensive since I was introduced to the shop in 2019. I do understand that Covid-19 caused many businesses to shutdown and that price adjustments are needed from time to time but a 40% increase in 3 years to me sounds insane. This is a shame since I used to order a lot from them before I saw that prices kept going higher and higher. The summary of my review is that if money is no issue to you, you will enjoy pretty much everything you buy from Cremerie De L'eclair. I understand that what I consider as greed other people will take as good business logic but, I do believe a balance between the two should be the goal in order to not lose loyal customers.

Unfortunately I will not be buying from this shop anytime soon but, I wish you (Cremerie De L'eclair) the best of luck, keep making really...

I’ve walked past this place so many times on the way to the train station and finally went there to check it out. The gelato is really really good, but the winner at this place are the ice cream sandwiches for sure. They have heaps of different options to pick from. You get a huge amount of delicious gelato sandwiched between two delicious cookies, with various yum things coating it depending on what you pick. Even that isn’t enough, because then the person serving you asks what topping you want, and you look up to see a bunch of toppings/sauces hanging from the ceiling (it looks like cow’s udders, weird but cool). 20 Shekels for a giant ice cream sandwich that you can easily share between two or three people (I obviously had one to myself). Perfect place to go on a date, or friend date....

Very unpleasant experience. I had to push my 80 year old Mum on her walker because there was no parking. The unfriendly shop assistant was not unhelpful. It was like she was doing us a whole favour by serving us.The chocolate eclair was very expensive and I wanted to cut the sandwich ice cream in half to share with my daughter but the so called assistant would not allow us to or do it for us, so I asked for another paper dish to put it in and was charged extra. I asked for the shops business card so I could talk to the manager about our awful visit and the so called shop assistant in a uniform told me that she was the manager. You had to laugh as I would have walked out in tears for the wasted time...
