Entered the restaurant at 10:00 pm when place was empty except for one diner who just finished her meal. After we finished our order on the digital screen and wanted to sit, most if the tables were dirty so I cleaned our table by myself and then my husband asked the guy who works there to turn off the air conditioner since it was very cold and the windows were open anyway - he did turn it off very unwillingly and then I asked him if he could lower the volume of the blasting music. This made him really mad and with a very unpleasant scolding voice he said- " from the moment you got in you have only requests... this place is what it is..." . Extremely rude! The food we ordered was a pasta dish which was ok, and a salad- really awful! The cheese cubes felt like something totally fake, some kind of a cheap imitation, dressing was lemon (bottled, not the fresh kind) and some seasoning powder on top. On our way out my husband reminded me that we were disappointed the previous time we were there(a couple of years ago). I didn't remember that. otherwise I wouldn't go in. I guess they don't see themselves in the hospitality business, or their workers are not happy. In any case, I'll vote better with my...

Pasta Basta in Haifa is hands down one of the best spots I've been to. The place has a modern and welcoming vibe that immediately makes you feel at home. The staff are super friendly, kind, and always ready to help with a smile – it really adds to the experience.
But let’s talk about the food... it’s out of this world. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection – you can really taste the quality in every bite. Whether you're a pasta lover or just looking for a great meal, this place delivers every time.
The location is also a huge plus – right in a key area on the Carmel, and just a short walk from the Carmelit station, making it super easy to get to.
Highly recommend to anyone in Haifa – locals and tourists alike. I’ll...
Read moreThis pasta restaurant is a good Discovery for me. It's actually a franchised restaurant. Pros: tasty, fresh and original pastas (vegan options). Prices are good. The service is fast, almost never crowded. Very breezey, the place has no walls and has an open view on the street. US music playlist. Nice atmosphere and decorations. OK cleanliness. There's a bar with high chairs and lots of baby chairs too. Cons: little choice of desserts, beers (a couple of tap beers), alcohols. Can be noisy with the street nearby. I recommend this place for a nice breezey lunch on the budget, while still enjoying tasty pastas. There's a car wash station just in front, so leave your car there and enjoy a coffee or something at...
