Alma — Restaurant in Jerusalem

The chicken breast was well grilled but the tomatoes in the salad weren't fresh - they smelled like they were off! The prices are too high for what you're getting and the service is not up to par. Twice I asked the waiter for vinaigrette for the salad and both times he forgot about it and I never got any. Furthermore, when offered 2 side dishes to my chicken I asked for 2 dishes of French fries. He said "no problem", but what I received was one French fries and one salad. The waiters speak to you as if you're their "pal", which considerably lowers the level of service. Very average food with a very pushy staff.

Some of the waiters here are very pushy and spent a lot of time trying to upswell us the special and the more expensive alcohol. We had made our choice but they kept insisting. I had to tell them no.

Service was slow as they were more concerned with the larger table and when we did get their attention we felt rushed.

The food was very average, I could have gone to any other restaurant or fast food restaurant and gotten the same quality food anywhere else.

Seriously a tourist trap, you'll have better value at the Mahane Yehuda market and the food will be much better tasting.

While the soups were yummy the service was terrible. We did not feel bad leaving 0 tip. First we were brought the wrong soup. They said it would be a few minutes for the right one. It was much more than a few minutes and we had to remind them that we were still waiting for it. Then we asked twice for water which never arrived. Then we asked twice for the check which never arrived either. We just went up to the counter to pay so we could get out of there. They try to be friendly but they did not succeed at creating a happy customer would would ever return. Many other yummy kosher meat places are in the neighborhood....
