Adom is a foodie's dream. It has the location (in a hip part of Jerusalem in an old train station), the menu (everything is out of this world), and the service (so friendly). Here's why it's one of the best restaurants in Jerusalem:
Atmosphere: It's a large restaurant with several dining rooms and a bar in an old converted train station. Everything matches from the outdoor patio color scheme (rustic green) to the chalk board art inside. The ceilings are high and the bar has glass plates gracing the banister. It's Jerusalem hip.
Food: From appetizers to dessert, we were blown away by the art the chefs created in their open kitchen. A few standouts:
Artichoke rissoto -Chicken in coconut milk -Burger -Tahini ice cream -Caramel apple crumble -Hot chocolate cake (like a chocolate lava cake)

Read moreI had the great fortune of doing dinner at Adom with friends last month. Located inside Jerusalem's First Station complex, Adom is full of fun and tasty surprises.
They have a great selection of Israeli wines, and all the apps we tried were fantastic. The Spring Salad with fresh greens was so refreshing, and the asparagus with egg was rich and filling.
For the main, I had the cheese pasta shells with mushrooms. They were so fantastic! Once I started, it was hard to stop. The flavors were phenomenal.
For dessert, the cheesecake and the torte-style salted caramel and chocolate cake were both amazingly delicious. I've had so many cheesecakes in my life that it's hard for any one to stand out, but Adom's will forever stand out for me.
I was incredibly happy with our dinner here, and I'd love to come back next time I have a chance to...
Read moreHonestly, I don't understand the good reviews for this restaurant. This was by far not worth the money spent. With average entrees around 70 to 180₪ you'd expect a high-end experience. The food was disappointing, presentation was ugly, some meals came undercooked and parts were obviously microwaved. The service was lacking, had to constantly ask for basic given services and staff was not well informed on the menu and basic kosher rules. Not only that but some of the people in my group thought our waitress was rude and apathetic. They also let in someone with a big dog that would constantly whine and bark at every waiter and costumer.
The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the location is amazing. If you are thinking of coming to this restaurant, avoid it and explore the area. There are many great alternatives that won't...
