We had been in Israel for three days and were wanting to find a delicious shawarma for supper. We walked down the beautiful Ben Yehudah shopping district and found the amazing middle eastern shawarma restaurant. So we popped in and were so happy we did. This pita sandwich roll was stuffed with roasted meat, lamb or chicken, piled with fresh onions, tomatoes and cucumbers then smothered with a heavenly white sauce, garlicky yogurt and spices to perfection.
