Shawarma שׁווארמה המודקי — Restaurant in Jerusalem

We had been in Israel for three days and were wanting to find a delicious shawarma for supper. We walked down the beautiful Ben Yehudah shopping district and found the amazing middle eastern shawarma restaurant. So we popped in and were so happy we did. This pita sandwich roll was stuffed with roasted meat, lamb or chicken, piled with fresh onions, tomatoes and cucumbers then smothered with a heavenly white sauce, garlicky yogurt and spices to perfection. One cannot eat this without a delectable messy ummy finger licking trance of epicurean delight d. It is worth two business class tickets to eat this wonderful meal. Enjoy friends...

Update: threw up 5 times 12 hours later, had a horrible stomach pain and diarrhea. Will never return until they get their hygiene in order. Delicious Shwarma, minus 2 stars cause the guy didn’t wear gloves or wash his hands between handling money, his phone, and making the food. Hoping I don’t get sick. 55 ils or 15 bucks for a shwarma in a laffa, wouldn’t call that cheap but life is pricey and getting more יקר by the day Plenty of outdoor seats in front...
