Wine selection was very good and the manager and owner Gabriele of the restaurant has a real passion to provide and recommend the best wine for your needs. It’s refreshing to have someone that does not push you the most expensive wine on his menu but rather, what is best served for the food and your budget. We had a beautiful house wine served to us for our meal and although I could afford a munc higher budget this was not necessary. Prices: Very good Mains and entrée: very good Service: Polite and attentive A great...
Read moreI had a really good lunch on the 28th of december with my wife and daughter. The waiters were ok and the food was nice. In the beginning i asked for the Wi-Fi because i noticed the router was off and there was no signal. The guy behind the bar told me it was because there was too many people, but that was not the case. There was absolutely no signal from the router. At the end i tried to pay the check with two credit cards and any of my cards worked (they worked before an after in other places). So someone went up and resetted the router and then i got signal. I told the man in the cash register what i was told about the Wi-Fi and the guy behind the bar heard me and told me that if i didn't believe him it was my problem. I told him that indeed i didn't believe him and told him not to talk about things he didn't know about. Another guy to my left poke me in my shoulder with one finger and told me that i should be careful with what i said and to pay and leave. He got really agresive and everyone around tried to calm him down. He repeated to me to pay and leave. I payed with cash and left. For sure this people don't know how to treat a costumer. 70 euros i spent there. Incredible, worst...
Read moreTHE FOOD! I don't care what you order, the food is good. The drinks were amazing. We had the cucumber lemonade that quenched our thirst and made us want another! The shwarma chicken and hummus with lamb were just incredible. Simple and spiced to near perfection. I haven't had hummus so good since forever. And I want to commend the owner, Gabi, for his hospitality and attentiveness. We raved about the food and he brought the chef out for us to meet. We thanked both of them for offering a haven after a long day of walking the old city. With some of the best blues I've listened to in a long time (and I love the blues) playing from the speakers and the food being well above our very high standard, the ambience just made it a perfect meal. We sat, relaxed, dined and relished the new memories we had just made. This singular moment is enough to draw us back to Jerusalem, and we want even more to eat here again before we venture outside the walls into the rest of the city. Thank you for your understated excellence and attention to detail, we...
