Brooklyn Pizza — Restaurant in Tel-Aviv

As a seasoned food critic, it is with great disappointment that I must express my utter frustration with the lackluster Margherita Pizza offered at this establishment. While the pizza itself is average at best, my biggest qualm with this place is the blatant misrepresentation of what constitutes a true Pizza Margherita.

To call a pizza with a simple marinara sauce a Margherita Pizza is not only misleading, but it is a disservice to the culinary heritage of this classic dish. As any reputable source will confirm, the essential ingredients of a Margherita Pizza are fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, and most importantly, basil. Yet, upon questioning the owner, I was informed that this establishment has never included basil on their version of the Pizza Margherita.

This is an egregious offense that cannot be ignored. Any true pizza aficionado knows that the distinct flavor and aroma of fresh basil is a defining characteristic of a Margherita Pizza. Without it, this pizza is nothing more than a subpar tomato and cheese pie.

In conclusion, I must urge the owners of this establishment to reconsider their approach to the Pizza Margherita. To continue to mislead customers by offering a subpar rendition of this classic dish is simply unacceptable. Until this issue is rectified, I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an authentic pizza experience.

Favorite pizza in Tel Aviv. It tastes just like a good slice or pizza would find in its namesake - Brooklyn. They also have toppings that taste like a pizza from NY. Pepperonis in Israel don’t always taste the same but they do here. Also the mushroom and bacon toppings are great. A plain cheese slice is also good and cooked with the right amount of crispy ness. My American daughter insists on coming here...

The best pizza ever !! I had the large margarita and it was amazing , also the packaging of the pizza was really creative and funny . The pizza tasted really nice , the tomato sauce was also phenomenal . The problem with this place is that there's only two sizes : One slice. Very large . 109 shekels . But its not that big of a deal . I will certainly be back in...
