TL;DR Good food and great value for your money, and good service. We got there on a friday night to celebrate a birthday. had to order a table 2 weeks in advance. Finding a parking place in this area is always an expensive nightmare but luckily we found the last parking slot in the closest parking lot (30 nis per hour) If you can - don't come with the car. The restaurant is small and narrow and it is a bit dark maybe for the atmosphere but I would prefer more light. It was full but still not too crowded and noisy to hurt your dining experience. We got a table for 6 in the middle and the menus were already on the table. Our waiter was really nice and responsive and definitely added to the experience. We ordered: drinks: - cocktails, beer and a glass of chablis that was really good. Appetizers: - Charred Eggplant: really nice liket the flavors combination. - Tuna Crostini: excellent, it feels like it explodes in your mouth. - Mediterranean Ceviche: nice - Chicken liver pate: good Mains: - Pork Chop Schnitzel: was good with nice french fries. - Veal Schnitzel: was excellent with good mashed potato. - Gnocchi in tomato butter: was really good. - Seafood Pasta: was made perfectly with an excellent seafood flavor. - Salmon Fillet: was a really good slice that was made perfectly and fitted really well with the eggplant cream and yogurt. For dessert we had the Lemon cream with Meringue - it was really nice and very light if you like sour taste. We also got on the house chasers since we were celebrating a birthday and our waiter was really nice :) All around it came out as 200 nis per person including tip that is really good value for money.

Highly recommend to book a table unless your coming for the opening. Came here Friday noon (12:00PM) for a weekend brunch. The hosting was very accurate and professional. Sat outside as it was a beautiful day and it’s nice and quite area to enjoy and observe the city and people. The food was absolutely amazing and so did the cocktails. Had the beef tartare and the veal schnitzel which was super thin and tasty. It was one of the best brunches I had lately and I will definitely come back again. One of the downsides outside is that there’s no separation between smokers and non smokers and the tables are quite close to each other so take that in mind. In addition the table is reserved for only 1.5 hours which is fine but still limits you. I can understand why though, as the place got very crowded later. Service was fast and good as there are many waiters.

I feel like an odd person, maybe it was just a bad day.. Schnitzel was good. Both chicken and beef. Mash was really nice. (A nice addition would be the a "kids" style side dish that I grew up on, spaghetti with lots of red sauce) Spaghetti and schnitzel is the best. We had a special starter of Jerusalem artichoke, it was just ok. Ceviche that in my opinion was great but didn't have any good fish flavors, tasted like salad. I liked it a lot, My friends didn't enjoy it so much.. The food comes out fast which is amazing but also feels wrong haha. Cheesecake was a disappointment. It was floury and not very flavorful. Also it felt old.. The lemon dessert was fresh and yummy. Bottom line - might go back to try the gnocchi and carpaccio but not sure.

Our fascination with the ever- popular Schnitzel led us to Cafe Noir, where people come for the schnitzel and taste of high society. There, me and my date enjoyed a Schnitzel that we gave an 8.4/8.7 rating, respectively. Thoroughly enjoyable, we found the breading to be somewhere between a delicate crunch and a crumbly crisp. It was subtle and comfortable and gently complimented by a hint of herbs. However the inside, while fresh and quality, was lacking the lush, steaming quality a chicken filet right out of the oven can provide. Delicious and worth it, nonetheless. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was quite cozy and warm and of course, it didn’t hurt that I had someone much better looking than myself to accompany me 😜

Great experience in Cafe Noir. After having a less pleasent visit due to a misunderstanding with the waiters, We were invited for another visit to change our experience. This time we truly got to see how wonderful the cafe is. Everything was outstanding, from the kindness and generosity of the staff, to the flavours and quality of the dishes. All our dishes came fairly quickly, were fresh and delicious - especially the Lebanese salad and salmon which comes with potatoes and sour cream 😍 Also, this place has great atmosphere and perfect for having a meal with friends and family. You can surely tell that this cafe puts his clients satisfaction at it's highest priority. We will definitely be back :)

My wife and I stumbled upon this place by accident when we were looking for a place to eat. From a distance it looks very simple, but up close and inside it is very good. Neat tables outside along the wall, a glass veranda against the other wall and a pleasant atmosphere inside made us stop here. Well, the menu too, of course. We were interested to try a Seafood Linguine and a Pork chop schnitzel, and we were not disappointed. It was delicious. We also ordered a couple of cocktails which also were good(Mr. James & Espresso martini). I would say that it was a little more expensive than I would like, but I will give it 5 because in general we were only satisfied with this place.
