Ruben — Restaurant in Tel-Aviv

Definitely not one of the best burgers in Tel Aviv I ordered a Ruben burger with chips which they told me is the classic option. The chips were crispy and tasty. They were left with the skin which was nice, but unfortunately they were also very greasy. The burger itself comes with vegetables on the side and you add them yourself to the bun. That is fine but the choice of sauces on the other hand is very weak. Mayonnaise and ketchup from some American brand are not what you should get at that level of prices. On the other hand the bun was good and the burger itself was tasty and had a great smoky taste. And bottom line, it is always special to sit at a terrace of an eatery on...

I had the Ruben Hamburger. It was okayish, nothing special. The fries were really good, but overall too expensive for what it was.

The worse part though was definitely the music. We sat outside and it was as if this place and the next one over were fighting over who had the loudest music, and they often change the music mid-track! After a while it gives you a headache. Both restaurants could improve a lot if they just coordinate...

Other than the food being fantastic (the sloppy is better than the buger, trust me!) and reasonably priced…. Yaron was by far the best service person we ever had in a long time.
