Café Nona — Restaurant in Tel-Aviv

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at Cafe Nona was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share.

The service was painfully slow, even though the place was half empty. We waited nearly 25 minutes just to get two coffees and a pastry. When the drinks finally arrived, my latte was lukewarm and tasted oddly bitter, as if the milk had been sitting out too long. The croissant was stale and clearly not fresh.

The atmosphere could be nice—if someone bothered to clean. Tables were sticky, and there was a strange smell near the counter. To top it off, the staff seemed indifferent bordering on annoyed when we politely asked about our order.

Overall, this was not worth the money or the time. There are plenty of better cafés in the area—do yourself a favor and pick literally any of...

Perfect place for a nice launch/breakfast and coffee.

I haven't tried cocktails, but the place looks very cozy, it has a large outside seating area with stylish furniture or you can sit inside and enjoy the same welcoming atmosphere.

We were with kids several times and they always enjoyed some coloring pictures and crayons which are provided by the staff.

I have tried several dishes and they all were nice looking, tasty and filling. Coffee was also perfect.

We had no issues paying with a foreign bank card.

The staff is always welcoming, nice and never overwhelming you.

Hope you can get the same experience here, which I have enjoyed a few...

I am sorry to say the food is really less then mediocre! I had a burkes and FYI it’s hard to get a bad one in Israel it’s the most common street food here, but mine was so dry and tasteless that I was shocked to find out you can serve such a bad one. My husband had the shakshuka and salad, it was so basic and didn’t taste like home made. Overall I wouldn’t serve that meal to anyone. Even the salad was some vegetables thrown together with out any intention to give it any flavour. However the waitress was nice and was sorry to hear I didn’t enjoy my food. Also very nice soft music was playing in the background. But this is no place to try...
