I'm a big foodie, eating is a big hobby of mine and I've tasted burgers all around the world. I'm also very critical about the food scene in Israel, and will not easily give something a big compliment.
HOWEVER. Vitrina is a BIG exception, and to me, it's without competition the very BEST burger in Israel. I have to admit I haven't tried every single burger in the country, but I tried a big majority and nothing comes close. These guys just know what they're doing.
I'll go further and say that in all my trips around the world, and specifically during all of the month+ total I spent in the US, I can count the burgers that compete with this one in a single hand that's missing a finger or two.
Surely, there are many burgers in America that are as good and better. But when it's that hard to find one, it means you owe it to yourself to go ahead and devour one of these yourself. Get the cheeseburger with everything on and let them make it the way they normally make it.
Oh, yes. They also have good sausages and juices. Don't get those before you feast on the burger though. And it's important to mention, seating isn't the best and service is sometimes unpleasant. But I forgive them for that as long as they keep this quality up.

Read moreI ordered a meal that include a 220gr fresh home made burger with cheese (a mix of blue cheese and gouda), homemade mayo, arugula, pickled cucumber and sort of onion jam. The fries are a mix of potato and sweet potato seasoned with a special twist which is a brush of lemon zest and a soft drink to your choice (they have 3 types of home made lemonade. When I was there, they had passion fruit lemonade, basel and strawberry lemonade and beets and rubus). It cost 60 nis (about 16$ or 14€). About the price, that will be a decent price for a excellent home made burger in Tlv. The staff is kind, professional, friendly and they work like a team and there is a feeling that they know what they are doing. There is no parking place specially for the place. I recommend walking there or taking a bus (there is a bus stop nearby) or a cab. They also serve one draft brand of Israeli boutique beer "Alexander". Also, the place is crowded and there is an atmosphere of a place that works and a happy people. About the food itself: I enjoyed every bite and the whole thing was a great moment of peace and delecatisy. Also, the place is highly recommended so you should check it out and...
Read moreOrdered from Vitrina in Tel Aviv via Wolt. My girlfriend got the Butler Burger Meal (with the fries mix), and I got the Chicken Caesar Sandwich Meal (also with fries mix). Coke Zero for her never arrived (we got refunded), and my house-made pineapple lemonade was… firmly in “meh” territory.
The food is tasty and fresh. Fries are crisp, well-cooked, and topped with grated lemon peel for a clever citrus kick. Everything feels well-made and carefully put together. But here’s the thing: this isn’t a premium, meat-lover’s burger shop. It’s more in the “nice fast food” lane. Think McDonald’s if McDonald’s decided to start sourcing better ingredients, not the kind of thick, juicy, high-end burger you’d find at a serious meat place for the same price.
Portions run small. My 70₪ chicken sandwich meal was delicious, but as a bodybuilder, I was still hungry afterwards. Light eaters will be fine; heavy eaters will probably be eyeing a second dinner.
Bottom line: Vitrina is a good, well-executed burger spot. Just know it’s more “quality fast food” than “premium burger joint,” so if you’re a die-hard meat lover, you might prefer...
