I am more than disappointed. I’ve been to north abraxas once before and loved the food and the energy. This time around I wanted to take my husband and sister in law and it really ended with a bitter taste leaving a 1 Star rating a it would be 0 if that were possible ! We started off with some drinks and ordered our food (sharing style) and for some reason we got all the fish and meat dishes but non of the sides at the same time which was not to great. Also they kept bringing more food, eventhough there was no space on the table (very small table for three) and didn’t take the empty plates, leaving us taking care of the clearing to be able to eat. Oh and of course there was cutlery missing and no waiters insight so we organised that ourselves as well. Food there is very pricey for the portions you get but so be it. Whilst we were having dessert they constantly tried the clear the plate, even though we were not done. And literally the moment we had our last spoon the table was cleared, we were handed the bill and asked to leave, as they had another booking for the table (something they had not told us before…). For the payment another waiter (we had not been served by him) came with the card machine. We tipped 10% and to be honest I didn’t think the service and the way we were treated even deserved this. But what happened then, was just unbelievable. The waiter tells us that the tip is too little and that it should be more, something between 10 - 20%. We then said yes that’s why we said 10% and he again repeats that it is not enough tip. At this moment I personally would have not tipped him any more, my husband still paid the 10%. We were then given frowning faces and we ignored whilst leaving. I have never experienced something like that. We will never come back and I will make sure to let all my friends and family know, who I always set to north abraxas when they were in Tel Aviv, to not go here. It’s a waste of time and money and there’s so many other better places....

It was lazy af, the table’s cover was a recycled industrial brown paper sheet and the watiress poured a chunck of thick salt on our table to use(???) Bread came out in school brown bags. -
Our experience was of amateur service managing while we waited 40 minutes for ANY entree dish other than bread. ( yes, we were informed that some dishes take longer up to 40 min but all of them??)
Staff brought main course before preparing the table for the dishes.. The Date’s Karpacho were transparently thin sliced at the price of a Laffa doner.
There so many little gimmicks within the menu and so little bottom-line-food ; I couldn’t understand shit, a menu is an infographic: wtf is this? not any kids dish entrees are for vegetarians unless you wanna play pick-a-bone with a delicious hrayime fish. ( not worth it imo) (they recommended just mix things up since everything is “medium sized” )
not any sides ( some leaves with random fruit and cucumber isnt a proper side to Asado on bones that was good if youre into fatty meats.
all in all you get a feeling that you should be grateful to even exprience the mysterious genius minds of those who came up with the witty written menu and there passion for food - When in reality it was underwhleming.
Non coherent costumer experience,
Lazy kindergarten party table setup Waitresses were patient
Underwhelming food if youre not into veggy...
Read moreJust overrated and wayyy too expensive. As one who usually is OK with getting ripped of for a new experience, this place actually annoys me. The food is not good enough to justify the price tag. The staff is not good enough to make this place a real premium place. They literally broke a large bottle of water on one of us, and banged a glass on another one's head, and were like "here is a free tomato salad".
This is absurd.
---- old review ---- It is like some kind of adventure coming here. I guess you don't really know what to expect. Getting chared sweet potatoes or a whole cauliflower is sure not an ordinary thing, but we were also served with surprise dishes. The first was a Pizza which we did not know what it was topped with - got it with some mint leaves and grated parmessan on top (and some other greens). It was really nice, though it was kind of an odd combination of salty parmessan and mint. The second surprise was the chicken hearts pita, which actually came in a laffa (a roll). Was good for chicken hearts which usually I don't like. Also had the burger, which was made of good meat, though topped with ketchup and mayo which makes me wonder what are they doing. Burgers of high quality meat shouldn't come soaked with ketchup or mayo.
Sitting on the bar is nice - watching the kitchen is quite a scenery.
Bottom line, definitely a good experience that one should have if he can...
