We went there tonight, my husband and I. We are on vacation from LA and this was our date night as we had left the kids with my in laws. We had reservations from before so we got in pretty easy but once we got there, they sat us in the corner at the bar even though we wanted to order dinner. Ok, fine, no big deal. Try communicating with the snooty bartenders!! I get they’re trying to be exclusive and hard to get into and all that but give it up! You can crack a smile or respond the first time we say ‘Excuse me.’ For Pete’s sake, we are spending good money for, let me say, very subpar food. We had the beef tacos and artichoke pizza. The meat in the tacos was very fatty and the artichoke pizza looked like it belonged on the kids menu!! We told the bartender we are tourists from LA and he actually had the nerve to say, ‘it shows!’ We won’t be back, needless to say. Nothing was that amazing there. It’s literally just like...

A well curated rooftop bar designed to host a small number of guests. The hostess and bouncers upfront will gladly turn away men if they have overcrowding, and anyone they deem to be unfit for the mature upper middle class crowd.

After entering, you will walk up three flights of tastefully modern decor. The bar is covered with pop art and stylish embellishments.

The bar in the center of the space is perhaps a bit small for the size of the establishment. Three very professional bartenders work at crazed efficient pace to keep the place afloat.

The exterior terrace wraps around the western and northern edges of the building. The narrowness makes it a bit tough to navigate through the crowds.

If you want to have a drink here, call to make a reservation. Don't...

Hands down one of the LAMEST venues. As someone who's gone out plenty in Tel Aviv and New York City, to say this was "lackluster" is an understatement. I rarely, if ever give less than 4 stars, and this was just a waste of time. To add insult to injury, we were a bunch of people for a bachelorette party, and because I (as a man with a beard) had worn red lipstick as part of the party silliness and festivities, the unprofessional and homophobic "bouncer" didn't even make eye-contact with me - unusual considering the area has quite a number of gay-friendly establishments. I'd like to say it was cool inside, but it's small and the party was just not exciting. I'd recommend other, cooler venues all...

I travel all over the world and my thing is to seek out rooftop bars. There's nothing like a great view, with a fringe cocktail, and great music. This place had a nice vibe but I agree with some of the other reviewers that it's a bit pretentious. I was seated at the bar and after 15 minutes I had to find someone to take my drink order. My mojito was actually pretty good. The music was so so and no secret ever smiled-ever- with one lady who's smile made up for all the frowns. If I come back I may bring some younger people with me. Maybe that will get us some attention.

Bottom line - we had a fabulous evening with my friends at the Speakeasy bar! The food was great, the atmosphere was chill and the service was really attentive. I have read the reviews before going and they were really mixed but we still give it a shot and I’m glad we did. I’ll admit, indeed the rates are on the high side you find in TLV (though far from the highest) of it but it was really worth it. (plus it has a really big balcony so you can sit outside and not worry about Covid)
