Stolero — Restaurant in Tel-Aviv

I began coming here during covid with one of my girlfriends - its a nice spot to grab a drink and watch the sunset overlooking the water. This is a place where I had been greeted nicely by the waitstaff multiple times, which made me want to come back and support their business. To note: in Israel it is tough to come across basic hospitality, so I like to support businesses who care to be kind and in turn, I put my money where my mouth is. After almost 6 years of living here, and Israel being my second home my whole life, I guess I (or the restaurant) had made a terrible judgment, because I unfortunately came across a hostess who was truly ugly from the inside out. The kind of Israeli girl you just want to stay away from at all times; her indicator was "HIYOOSH" which is a the fakest way of acknowledging someone in Israel, all while looking me up and down with judgement. Another note: Israeli girls are generally not kind to girls who are not Israeli, or take advantage of girls that are nice. I happen to be polite, but not stupid. We asked for a table to be told that the venue was closed off for a private event, which we understood and accepted with love. I kindly asked to use the restroom (the average Israeli wouldn't ask, they would just go), and I was denied entrance, even though I voiced that I would have been a paying customer if it wasn't closed to a private party. Her shrug of shoulders of "too bad," was one of the saddest things I have ever seen. It was just the simple fact that she lacked human decency, and actually smiled while acting as such. It was at that point where I voiced that her behavior was truly disturbing and ugly, where her then face expression validated exactly what I called her out on. Luckily for me, there are reviews on google, so I hope this review is taken seriously by a manager who just lost a lifelong customer on her account. A hostess is a reflection of the business, just like a secretary is a reflection of a doctors office. One star for the pretty place that was tainted by the ugly soul of a hostess....

service is very lousy, for example, waitress bring 8 plates to serve on our table, she put fingers inside of all plates and leave inside fingermarks, ( i need to clean after with paper handkerichief), btw they not bring enough handkerchief, no toothpicks on table, no salt, oil, etc..nothing, u must order all separatly what you need. They bring all food in different time, fish 1st, after 3 min chips than after 4, 5 min chicken, on the end pizza for me...again 4, 5 min waiting (maybe for pizza need most time ??), when i start to eat this quasi pizza all my friends almost finished (2 plate finish, 2 plate was 1min before finish, everyone waiting only me to finish eating, redicilous) btw this pizza was not soo so bad ( 3 of 5 ) but was not pizza !! looks like but was not pizza, ( i need to order pizza cuz they have no vegan menu, only salad, but this salad what i want they dont have in this time !! and only option for me was fake pizza), all other dishes was lousy, all my friend was not satisfied with food, music was little loud than normal and u need little problem to comunicate with person overtable, waitress must come on my side of the table to hear about my complaining cuz she ask on the end if was everything ok, and i make of remaining piece of "pizza" big question mark and show to her and ask what i was eat because this was not pizza, one star more than minimum i put only because of location and good music choice ( was still loud), never go...

The service was one of the worst experiences we have ever had in israel. The place wasn't so crowded, lots of waitresses and non of them is even looking towards us. We ordered the bagel for a starter and wait for it for 40 minutes. They bring it after we asked for the 3rd time after all the new tables around us already received the same course. Not to mention it came all slippery and skimpy, also the salmon dish was disgusting. We wanted to order alcohol and dessert but the service was so bad that we just wanted to get out of there. One of the waiters suggested to compensate us with alcohol shots and didn't bring them. Just after we finished and paid the bill he came to ask if they served it to us.
