Lala Land — Restaurant in Tel-Aviv

Lala Land on the beach in Tel Aviv was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The service was beyond horrible. Drinks took over 30 minutes to arrive, and the waiters seemed completely untrained. I had to flag them down repeatedly just to get basic service.

They forgot the olives I ordered, and when I reminded them, it took another 30 minutes for them to finally bring them out. Absolutely ridiculous. When it was finally time for the bill, they gave me the wrong one after I had already waited a long time, and then took ages again to bring the correct bill. The level of incompetence was unbelievable.

But the worst part was the manager. When I refused to leave a tip because the service was so obviously terrible, instead of apologizing or even just accepting it, he actually got angry. He told me my “face looked like shit” and started cursing at me in front of everyone. I’ve never in my life seen such disgusting, unprofessional behavior from someone who is supposed to be running a restaurant.

This place doesn’t deserve a single shekel of anyone’s money. The staff is slow and careless, and the manager is downright verbally abusive. There are plenty of good places to eat in Tel Aviv. don’t waste your time, money, or patience at Lala Land. Avoid this place...

Absolute worst place I’ve sat on the beach in Tel Aviv. I spend every summer in israel and have never been so disappointed in a restaurant and it’s staff as I was today. The server Omer not only took a long time to bring the food out but was then rude about us asking what was taking so long. Following this, the food we ordered had a hair in it and upon finding it and alerting the server he did not even apologize for it rather took the food disappeared for 15 minutes then returned with another one that we were still charged for. During those 15 minutes we spoke to 3 managers all of whom had no clue as to the situation and who didn’t really seem to care. The “main manager” was a complete dweeb who seems like he’s never sat at a restaurant or experienced any type of service in his life, absolutely shocking this place is still open and that their staff hasn’t all been fired. Never bring my business or any of my friends’ here again plenty of other places on the beach that actually want customers.

Lala land has a few good things going for it, in the restaurant business location is key and you really can't get any better than being on the sand on the beach, but for a restaurant that mostly caters to tourists and rich people I would expect the food quality to be a little more high end even if I have to pay a little bit extra . We ordered a breakfast each, and paid just a little under 150 shekels, for that price I would think that: A. The kitchen would get my order right- I ordered 2 eggs over easy and got them sunny side up B. I'd get more than just olive oil on my salad C. The portions of the sides should be bigger None the less, we came for the atmosphere and we got it for sure Great for business meetings and wine by the beach, if you want good food go somewhere else
