Voodoo bar — Restaurant in Tel-Aviv

I'm going to summarize the changes since the last time I've visited here. The food became more expensive and less tasty. The beer was served barely chilled \ lukewarm. I ordered a plate of fish and chips and the fish was was completely dripping oil, yet somehow wasn't in the least bit crunchy. The waiting staff was alright, not good, but alright.

While this is just mediocre, this place did manage to ruin my whole evening. I was requesting to pack my leftovers and get an additional dish to go to bring to my mother. The waitress, oddly enough said she needed to "ask permission" and I had no idea what she was talking about. She comes back saying they don't allow me to take my food away from the restaurant and when I demanded my right to take the food I paid for with me, she gave me bad attitude that 'she doesn't make the rules and I should be respectful' because i dared say that this was completely irrational.

She brought the shift manager, Dor, whom I told just to bring me the food on a plate and he refused to do so, claiming that he's afraid "I'll bag the food myself" to which I responded with how the hell is that any of his business? After a long argument, he said he's willing to "do me a favor" and "damage the protocol" of the restaurant (which is illegal, since I paid for the food) and then I realized from his attitude and tone of voice that he might do something to my dish, so deciding not to risk it, I told him that I don't want it anymore.

I don't recommend this place, it's expensive, it's tacky, food is strictly junk food and the beer is not served properly, it has terrible service and there's better options 2 feet away in every direction. It used to be better than this. I used to like the place but no one I ever know will set foot in there again.

הנה סיכום של השינויים שקרו במקום מאז הפעם האחרונה שביקרתי שם - האוכל נהיה יותר יקר ופחות טעים והבירה הוגשה כמעט ולא קרה בכלל. הפיש אנד צ'יפס נזל שמן ואיכשהו בכל זאת לא הצליח להיות קריספי בכלל. השירות היה בסדר, קצת איטי אבל לא נורא. מה שכן, הם הצליחו לגמרי להרוס לי את הערב.

ביקשתי מלילך המלצרית לארוז את מה שנשאר לי מהמנה ולהביא לי עוד מנה לדרך והיא אמרה שהיא צריכה לבקש רשות, שהיה קטע לא מובן בכלל. היא חזרה אחרי כמה דקות ואמרה שהמסעדה לא אורזת אוכל ומה שגם לא מאפשרת לי להוציא את האוכל מהמסעדה בכלל. כשהסברתי לה שזה לא הגיוני בעליל, היא אמרה שהיא לא קובעת את החוקים ושאני צריך להתנהג בצורה מכבדת (כן כי להתלונן על זה שאתם מונעים ממני לקחת את האוכל שלי זה לא מכבד, בסדר גמור.)

הגיע אליי דור, האחמ"ש ולא אמרתי שאני פשוט רוצה את זה בצלחת רגיל והוא סרב להגיש לי "כי יש חשש שאני אקח את האוכל איתי לדרך" כן, זה אמיתי. אחרי ויכוח מיותר ומעצבן הוא הסכים "לעשות לי טובה" ו"לפגוע בנהלים" (הלא חוקיים) ולהוציא לי את המנה שביקשתי, כאשר הגישה שלו וטון הקול שלו מבהירים לי שלא כדאי לי לקחת את המנה הזאת. אמרתי לו שיעזוב. הם יגידו בטח שאני סתם לקוח חצוף ומעצבן אבל זה גם אומר משהו אם בקשה בסיסית כמו לקחת אוכל ששילמתי עליו איתי (אפילו הייתי הולך מטר למקס סטוק קונה מכספי חמגשית) זה נחשב חצוף. לא ממליץ על המקום הזה, הוא יקר מאוד והאוכל שם ג'אנק, הבירה לא מוגשת כהלכה והשירות על הפנים. אני לא אתן לאף אחד ממי שאני מכיר לדרוך שם אחרי היום וחבל כי פעם היה שם סבבה. לא ממליץ לאף אחד, 5 מטר בכל כיוון משם יש...

Racist and rude establishment. I'm a Japanese, yes I know to many of you in this country, we're all Chinese but you don't have to make it so obvious. The girl with curly hair at the counter outside was all "no no no" when we ask to be waited. Ok then, we'll serve ourselves because our company were already tired and couldn't walk to another pub anymore. But when we got inside to order take-away beer, the other girl was like "CHINA, BEER HERE". Everyone else of the staff was also "no" when we asked if they could help us with anything. Would not...

Worst service I've ever gotten We waited around 40 minutes for 4 dishes But We got only 3 of them Around 20 minutes later and about 3 or 4 staff members that came around to "ask if everything was fine" I was generously rewarded with "we've ran out of your dish" AFTER MORE THAN AN HOUR And they had the audacity to offer me another dish, ofc they expected me to pay the FULL price.

Anyhow, I won't be visiting again, nor will I recommend this place to anyone.
