Our first ever trip to Sicily was made epic and magical by places like Bar Athenea and people like Antonino and Lorraine. Luck, fate or possibly the nearby Greek gods guided us to Bar Athenea where Lorraine's warm greeting and Antonino's food magic (and willingness to improvise dishes not on the menu) saw us spend a couple of lazy hours scoffing, sipping and chatting.
