We had a horrendous experience of ignorance and bad service at this bistro.
After ordering drinks, we decided we would like some paninis, the barman inside was very helpful and directed us to some grilled vegetable piadinas that would be vegan.
While waiting for our patinas, some aperitivo snacks arrived.
I told the waitress twice that we were vegan, I asked her if the options were with vegetables, to which she said yes, twice.
I was skeptical, as one was with a creamy sauce so I asked if it was vegan, she said yes again.
I asked if it had egg inside, she said yes, so obviously it's not vegan, I checked to see if it was only vegetarian. She said yes again.
Before I could ask her more questions she walked away.
We ate the bruschetta that she said was definitely only vegetables, it was raw, uncooked beef, which looked like a typical pomodoro bruschetta.
After not eating meat for 7 years we were mortified, we told this to the waitress and she made excuse after excuse and laughed about the situation.
She was arrogant and dismissive and no discount or even apology was offered after such a huge mistake.

1 person in our group spoke Italian and the other is Italian. Everything was communicated and ordered in Italian so there was no language barrier.
3 of us are vegan and one vegetarian. This was clearly stated. When appetizers came out we asked, twice, what was vegan. My friend was quick to correct the waitres on seeing one was creamy and she then said one had dairy. We found out later it also had tuna in.
One dish that we were told was just vegetables and looked like bruschetta was in fact raw diced meat. Before releasing, my friend who has been vegan 7 years, had a bite and swallowed, realized and cried as it is very important to her. My other vegan friend felt sick.
The waitresses denied anything, lied about what happened even though we double checked everything in Italian, argued, made excuses, and one mocked and laughed at us. We were shocked at the unprofessionalism and how the situation was handled. We left a lot of food as our appetite had gone.
No discount or refund was offered. Very bad service. We all left very disappointed,...
