It was my second visit to Martinucci. I wanted to take an afternoon tiramisu. I went to order and the waitress asked me to pay first. So, I went to pay on the cash desk… The lady on the counter said: “you pay to take away”.. I answered: “No, I went to have a table”… then she answered, that there are no tables. On the meantime she said the waitress in Italian “She has only tiramisu…” !? Does it mean I can con eat my tiramisu like a normal person from a plate seating on the table?!”
I went to check the terase and there were 2 free table out of 4 and totally free garden.
Then I took a bill and went to order my tiramisu. They put it on paper plate and I asked to give a normal plate and that I eat it in the place.
After another young waiter started almost to scream at me “you payed for take away, you have it take away”… why you payed, we have table service..!! It was soooo arrogant and unpleasant. I wanted to through this tiramisu in the trash after that…
They said: you pay 1 euro change if you want it here.
No one apologized for the behavior, it was extremely unpleasant and arrogant.
Dear Martinucci, people who come on a vacation don’t care to pay 4 , 5 or 6 €… we pay for experience
Your arrogance was not the experience I wished to pay for!!
I wanted to come a couple of times, as soon as I stay here a couple of days, but I will definitely not come back and I don’t recommend a place due to lack of service and manners...
Read moreThe ice cream and pastries were very delicious. However, everything was ruined by the attitude towards the customer. It was raining heavily outside, and my family (my wife, three kids, and I) specifically came here after reading many positive reviews. We got soaked to the skin, but we made it! The first issue was that there were no tables or chairs to sit and rest (although there are places in the photos where you can sit). What kind of disrespect to the customer does it take to not provide a place to lean or sit (what if older visitors come)? The second issue was that we found an empty spot with good heating, a small corner where we could place a plate. But then a staff member came and asked us to leave the free space. We left a decent amount of money for the ordered ice cream and pastries, but they kicked us out and sent us to the crowded main hall, where there was barely room to move. When I said that we had small children and were soaked and wanted to enjoy our food and rest, they shrugged and looked at the floor, but still asked us to leave. This is...
Read moreMy visit to Bar Pasticceria Martinucci Laboratory was extremely disappointing, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and let down. Several aspects of my experience failed to meet even the most basic expectations. The wait time was unreasonably long, lasting 45 minutes despite a lack of significant crowding. The service provided was abysmal, with the waitress forgetting our requests for water and a coffee, and even charging us for a coffee we never received. The quality of the desserts added to the disappointment, as the eagerly anticipated tiramisu and baba premium were served frozen, robbing them of their intended flavors and textures. I strongly discourage others from visiting this establishment due to the combination of excessive wait times, forgetful service, and subpar dessert quality. Improvement and swift action from the management are necessary to enhance the overall quality of Bar Pasticceria...
