Casa Nova Il Ristorante — Restaurant in Alberobello

We came into this restaurant after a whole week of trip in Apulia, where what we loved the most was food! We was a bit stuffed so we decided to just have some beers and just a small treat for dinner. Ravioli with porcini souce (pasta needed more cook and sauce was weak) and burrata (very small one) with crudo. But the worst ever was when the oldest waiter clean our table and he asked us if we wanted something else. He went clearly disappointed and he said something to the youngest waiter. We are italian too and we understand body language. It was something so rude that a waiter judges you for how much you are eating or spending and we didn t expected it from a such a "posh" restaurant. I will never go back threre and from my experience i don t recommand it....

I ordered the dish of the day, in which i found a caterpillar. As the waiter was informed i was brought another dish of my preference. No one in charge never came just for a typical apologize. Instead, i was charged the second dish i ordered (not the first one fortunately), but i had a discount of 6€. 🤡Really? Trying to earn money even after i found an insect in my dish? I would expect a more professional behavior, especially in such a well rated restaurant. It was a shame and a quite big disappointment, not only due to the poor hygiene, but also due to the disrespectful behavior. apart from that, another dish (without any insects as far as we could see) was ordered well done cooked. 🚨Scam Attempts🚨

Stay away from this restaurant! The waiter served us three extra dishes that we didn't order and then tried to make us pay for them! Total scam attempt. Luckily they backed off when we pay.

The carbonara pasta tasted like scrambled eggs with no cheese at all - so bland and disappointing.

The waiter also brought us bottled water when we asked for tap water.

I know mistakes happen but the combination of unordered food, bad food, and shady tactics show a real problem with how this restaurant trains and monitors their servers. They're clearly trying to trick customers into paying more.

Save your money and avoid this place! There are much better restaurants that won't scam you and will actually serve you good food. I...
