We wanted great pizza and so we searched for and found OK Pizza. We thought it was funny that they would call it 'OK', because when we tasted their pizza, it was much better than okay. As a matter of fact, I would say it was the best pizza we had in Alghero. But, as much as taste is important, especially when it comes to European food, the overall experience is what counts and Massimo, the owner, was one of the most knowledgeable, gracious, genuine and personable hosts we've had the pleasure to meet. All OK Pizza does is pizza, that's it. And that's okay, because they do it right. I asked if I could have a salad and he just plainly said that pizza was all they made. He brought as a table wine that was so inexpensive that it wasn't worth mentioning, but was one of the best wines I had (next to my dad's of course, sorry dad).
