What started as a lovely evening with friends at Pedri Garden Restaurant in Porto Cervo quickly turned into one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had — not because of the food (which was actually good), but because of the appalling behavior of the management.

We enjoyed our meal, had a great waiter who was kind and attentive, and left a generous tip on a €450 bill. Then, we noticed something shocking — we had been charged for 1.5kg of meat, when we had very clearly ordered only 1.1kg. That’s a €75 overcharge.

We brought this to the waiter’s attention, and he went to speak to the manager — who openly dismissed us, telling him, “I don’t care, they ate it.” (We didn’t even finish the meat, by the way.) No apology, no accountability, just pure arrogance.

Then came the general manager, who made things even worse. He repeated the same line: “You already paid, you ate it, there’s nothing we can do.” His tone was cold and condescending, as if we were the ones trying to cheat them — not the other way around.

After being made to wait for an unreasonably long time, they returned to say they had spoken to the owner and would “generously” refund €40. Not the full €75. Not even an apology. Just more attitude and an insulting offer.

This wasn’t just a billing error — it was blatant disrespect and a total lack of professionalism. For a place that presents itself as high-end, the behavior of the management was anything but. It left a terrible taste after what should have been a great night.

Save your money. There are plenty of restaurants in Porto Cervo that know how to treat guests with respect, honesty, and dignity. This is not...

Pedri Garden exceeded every expectation we had and delivered one of the most memorable meals we’ve ever enjoyed in Sardinia. From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere was enchanting—lush gardens, refined yet relaxed, and an energy that made the evening feel truly special.

The food was extraordinary. We began with the langoustines and a delicate mushroom salad, both prepared with elegance and depth of flavor. The osso buco was easily one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere in the world—tender, rich, and perfectly balanced. The sea bass was pristine and beautifully executed. For dessert, we chose “The Garden,” which was as much a piece of art as it was a sweet ending. Every course felt carefully thought out and unforgettable.

What really set the night apart was the service. The staff was not only professional, but also genuinely warm and attentive. We never once felt rushed—in fact, they graciously moved us outside after dinner and provided my wife a scarf so we could enjoy our coffee and dessert under the stars. Franco, in particular, deserves special mention for being absolutely incredible. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and at home.

Our dinner lasted about 2.5 hours, and it never felt like a moment too long. Unlike some reviews we had read, the pace was perfect—allowing us to savor every bite, every sip, and every detail of the experience.

Pedri Garden isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience. We will absolutely return the next time we are in Sardinia, and we’ll be recommending it wholeheartedly to friends and family. Bravo to the entire team—you made our evening one we’ll...

We came here as a group of 10, with a reservation that was honored right on time, and I’ll start by saying the atmosphere was lovely—busy, lively crowd and a nicely designed space. The lamb leg was phenomenal, easily the standout of the night, and the fish was good. Dessert was also very good, rounding the meal on a sweet note. That said, the experience took a serious downturn when our server, who clearly had a cold, repeatedly coughed over our plates and burrata. We immediately told the manager, but the waitress wasn’t reassigned until I personally got up to speak with the owner. Shockingly, we later saw her serving another table, STILL COUGHING 😳

This was especially concerning as we had a pregnant woman in our group who should never have been put in that situation.

There was no apology from management, no effort to make things right, even though we saw the owner giving attentive service to other tables. While the food was mostly good—though not remarkable beyond the lamb leg and dessert—the lack of basic hygiene protocols and absence of customer care from management overshadowed the positives.

Bathrooms also had long lines, so plan ahead if you visit.

Overall, a night that could have been memorable for the right reasons became memorable for the wrong ones.

Good food in parts, nice setting, but service and management response need serious...

Mixed experiences. The overall atmosphere is very nice, and the decoration and interior is lovely. However, the tables are quite close together and the restaurant is always packed, so it doesn‘t have a lot of privacy. The food quality is not super consistent and ranges from „incredible“ to „quite good“. Can recommend the mussle soup and sea bass. Portions are relatively small so be prepared to order multiple courses. The only real downside for me is the service, as you don‘t get one appointed server but multiple and everything takes quite a lot of time. One time we waited 15-20 min for the check and had to tell multiple waiters multiple times. This sorta dims the experience of a restaurant in this price range.
