Unfortunately, we were extremely underwhelmed. The location is actually quite nice and would be an ideal resting point before or after a shopping spree. The service however was absolutely terrible. Honestly, the service is right on par with the worst restaurants I have ever been to. The menu has not much to offer besides sandwiches (around 15€) and drinks - so nothing to write home about.
We arrived in the early afternoon and weren't greeted at all. Even after we had made eye contact with the waiter, he did not come over to offer us a seat. So, I walked up to him and asked to be seated. This request was met with a shrug of the shoulders and the reply that if we really wanted to sit, we would have to be prepared to wait for our food, as the kitchen was busy. What a greeting was that? Also, there was only a handful of other guests - so the statement that we should be prepared to wait seemed like a blatant attempt to keep us out.
After having successfully fought our way to one of the precious tables, we were ignored for almost 10 minutes. I proceeded to approach the waiter and ask for a simple ham sandwich for our young son who was really hungry at this point. The waiter continued to present a really snobby attitude, reminding me that he had already had previously told us to be prepared for a long wait (even for a ham sandwich?!).
Long story short, it took about 15minutes for the sandwich to arrive. This would have been perfectly ok. The quality of the sandwich was also ok. But honestly, the attitude and behavior of the waiter was absolutely...
Read moreThis place does pack up fast and may be hard to find a seat closer to sunset. I’d recommend you get here as early as possible for that reason. We arrived an hour before sunset and 1st off, I’d like to add that the view was very unique and breathtaking. Secondly, we got a seat closer to the wall on the exterior and still the views were clearly in sight. I would also like to add, that there are staff who do speak English and understand it as well. This isn’t the case for most places so I wanted to throw that in there. Staff was very friendly and overall attentive. There is a parking garage nearby but if you are using Google maps or Apple Maps you may need to walk further than it shows on the map for some reason. If you can’t find the place just ask around the people are friendly. Drinks were of the highest quality and the snacks as well. This place was a home...
Read moreThis place is a reasonably priced little gem in Porto Cervo, with great service and views. Cocktails around 12euro, Aperol Spritz 9euro, house wines 6 euro. For the area the price is very reasonable and we returned a few times during our trip. Plenty of complimentary snacks brought to you. Can be a little windy so make want to take a jacket in the evening. We had a light pizza dish as a small meal one evening (not on menu, but should be!) and it was delicious. I believe they also own Elit Promenade Cafe around the corner, which is also great (and I have left a 5* review for...
