We’ve went to a seaside on our Rome city break. Not having much of other options available we ended up at this place. We ordered a squid, wine and some other fried see food.
Where the wine was ok the food was horrible.
Squid was burned. Very, very much. Uneatable. When we complained about this to the waiter she brought the cook who was trying to convince us it was a good quality product, which wasn’t the case, cause it was prepared very bad. After that we were left alone with no action taken from the restaurant crew. Like they didn’t acknowledge what was told to them.
Eventually we decided to leave paying only for the wine. When the old lady, suppose the owner of the place, heard this she started shouting saying she will call carabinieri. I’d be ready to confront my point of view against them but we had a train to catch back to Rome so it wasn’t an option.
We even propose to pay for the half of the bill. Not a chance, they were stubborn and keep shouting at us. A truly horrible service.
Next time when in Anzio I’d reccomend to go to the store, buy some cheese and eat it on the beach. That would be much better experience.

Read moreTuesday evening and terrible service. We are sitting in a restaurant for over an hour, no food has been prepared. The waitress brought two wrong bottles (out of two) despite we repeated multiple times what exactly we want. She proceeded to persuade us that she brought exactly what we ordered.
P. S. 1:30 in, the food is great, but they mixed up one appertiser.
There is not enough staff to serve the entire restaurant, as some tables waited for two hours and simply left.
P. P. S. We paid for everything including a terrible service, €2 per person. Recommend only if you want to ruin your...
Strano perché come Domenica a pranzo erano praticamente vuoti.
