Let me begin saying that I've been working in the F&B industry in executive positions for over 20y, mostly in 5* hotels, therefore, I know food and service better than I know myself.

That was awful service, no extras offered, no recommendations, no empty glasses cleared, no wine top up, what a disaster.

1h for main courses, when they come, my dish which I CLEARLY asked the maitre francesco to have the side changed, wasn't, here I go eating this tasteless sweet potato puree. The pork was severely overcooked and dry. Had to send it back, as couldn't eat it.

€62 for poor Aperol Spritz (yeah, in Italy), a little portion of prosciutto, a pasta and a below average wine. RIP OFF

Won't come back NOR recommend STAY AWAY FROM THIS TOURIST TRAP!!!

I'm not sure if the dinner experience is very different from a typical lunch here, but we were surprised by the reviews describing bad service. We came on a typical Saturday night and our server was one of the best I've met so far. Astute and attentive to the details, he put us at ease just as the excellent meal eased our hunger.

Di Casa Norcia mi ha colpita l'atmosfera intima che si crea, il personale attento, cortese e disponibile nel saper consigliare prodotti preparati con cura e di ottima qualità. C'è una grande attenzione ai dettagli, sia nei piatti serviti che nel rapporto col cliente, decisamente professionale ma non privo per questo di sorrisi, gentilezza e scambi di parole. I piatti sono locali, chi vi si reca non può non provare quelli col tartufo e i vari affettati di Norcia, oltre la selezione di formaggi della casa accompagnati da marmellatine e miele. Presenti ottime birre artigianali, vini rossi da primi e da dessert. Il locale si presta non solo a pranzi e cene, ma anche da piccola bottega nella quale è possibile acquistare prodotti tipici Umbri, dai salumi, le confetture bio, pasta fresca in busta ai porcini o tartufi, condimenti da primi o da antipasti e molto altro ancora. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo, nella qualità non c'è solo quella degli alimenti e del personale, ma anche quella della posizione del locale sito nella piazza di Santa Maria degli Angeli beneficiando della vista.
