If you want the best sandwich in town of Assisi, that is organic fresh and incredibly delicious, then Piadina is for you. I created a new sandwich that’s not on the menu, so all you have to do is ask for Sara’s special and they’ll know what to do. The ingredients that I always ask for are pecorino cheese, Pesto, tomatoes and arugula. Today I added red bell peppers and radicchio and as always it was incredible. I love this place! I wish we had found this earlier in our stay, we would have eaten here every day. Food and groceries fresh from the farm, sulfite free wine, ancient grain options for the flat bread sandwiches, beautiful handmade wood interior. Get the jack sandwich, it is amazing. Great inexpensive piadine (flatbread sandwiches), using fresh organic ingredients.
