Caffetteria Mazzetti — Restaurant in Asti

We stopped at Caffetteria Mazzetti in Asti for a pit stop on our way to the Hotel. We spotted it by walking in the city centre, and we loved its decadent atmosphere. The garden was artful and melted seamlessly with the close Pinacoteca Civica Mazzetti. The menu outside invited us to trust this place in terms of Piemonte traditional cuisine. We had a great experience. I tasted for the first time the Vitello Tonnato and the Plin. They both were very yummy. The rest of the food my wife and my kid ordered was delicious. The service was polite and timely, and the staff was very friendly to my kid. The downsides were that the prices, in my opinion, were a bit expensive and the furniture was in the urge of renovation. Vengo spesso qui nei fine settimana, la maggior parte delle volte di sera, dopo il lavoro. Si trova all’interno di quello che i ragazzi della città chiamano “parco delle foglie” 🍁. Nelle immediate vicinanze vi sono anche due ampi parcheggi. Offre molti posti a sedere, con diverse stanze da occupare, arredate in modo originale e con gusto. Il servizio è buono, veloce e i ragazzi sono molto cortesi. Torte 🥧 e crostate molto buone, ma il plus, che lo differenzia dagli altri bar in zona è il cappuccino ☕️, che definirei oltre che buono...geniale!!! Schiuma della consistenza giusta, nella giusta quantità e caffè e latte 🥛 perfettamente miscelati. Anche i clienti sono meno caciaroni delle altre attività in zona, altro plus, che lo rende il luogo ideale per trascorrere qualche ora in relax e compagnia,se non fosse che...il locale nel fine settimana chiude all’1 (spero solo d’inverno). Certo, si potrebbe obiettare che non è una discoteca o un locale notturno, ma posso assicurarvi che tutti i ragazzi astigiani sarebbero contenti di questa cosa, poiché il locale è ormai un punto di riferimento fra i giovani. I happened to find this wonderful café on my walk around the town. It's a beautiful and relaxing place, I sat in the well kept garden with flowers and lush trees while listening to the sounds of violins. My drinks, lemon soda and very good cappuccino were so lowly priced that I asked the friendly staff whether a mistake had been made... Very nice experience, grazie...
