Good service, delicious and beautifully presented food, lots of atmosphere. Back street location, eating at tables outside is better than inside where there are more waiters and waitresses rushing around. Complimentary drink and nibbles, and free liquors. As a single woman of 55 I was not given the brush off treatment on Wednesday night, and was well looked after, but when I revisited on Friday night I found the restaurant much more busy. I had to eat inside, and wasn't given the complimentary wine and nibbles, though every other diner was. On the Friday night I visited, vendors were permitted to tour the tables selling electronic gadgets for a couple of Euros. This felt a little intrusive. Maybe this only happens during the rose wine festival... I would definitely return for the fish, and especially the (enormous) buffalo mozzarella salad, and grilled prawns. We just walked by and decided to eat here after checking the menu , with English and German translation. The house offered a free aperitif of white wine and red aperitif with a tasting of tuna sauce (from vitello tonnato). We shared 2 appetisers of warm octopus n potatoes (my wife favorite) n Muscles with pepper, quickly finished with compliments to the chef Next all the choices of Pasta allo scoglio, fresh water fish Pasta, fritto misto and mixed grilled seafood were also well apreciated. I really cannot agree with most of the reviews here. The service was OK, but nothing more. Not all waiters were able to speak a decent English, so ordering or asking anything was not quite easy. The food was OK, that's it. My vegetables were swimming in oil. My friends meals were partially way too salty so it wasn't eaten. The wine of the menu was not served and since talking English with them was so terrible we even decided not to complain about it. I need to add the following, my friends and I like fish in general, so this was not the reason. I cannot recommend this restaurant and we will definitely not go...
