Horrible!! After having read wonderful references about this place, i decided to book a table weeks prior to our visit. When we arrived, they seemed never to have any reservation made, but we were "lucky" to be seated after a nod from the guy who was dining and seemed to be the boss. The environment didnt look like a quality place from the beginning but since the gluten free forums spoke highly of the place we decided to stay in for the dinner. The overall cleanliness of the place including kitchen and toilet was below par. The service was horrible. They charge 2€ per head for the service!! You would at least expect them to be more attentive to the customers needs for that price and not on their phone or completely ignorant to the gluten free diat. Finally when we received our food, it came as a total dissatisfaction. We ordered a gluten free pizza margherita and for starters panzerotti and "small" assorted cheese and sausage plate. The "small" plate turned out to be a dinner for two by its proportions but considering the quality, it felt like stuff bought at the discount shop and therefore cut into large slices as if quantity covering quality. The pizza wasnt edible. We have had plenty of glutenfree pizzas, knowing its a trick to make a dough without any gluten in it, and the fact is these guys dont have the slightest of ideas. Also the panzerotti was dripping oil. All in all, we left the place highly disappointed. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty other places who surely serve a lot better food for much...
Read moreI'm not even going to rate this with stars for each category. Let me explain. My wife and I had a great dinner last week, simple meal , pizza was great and had good bottle of wine with it for about 50 to 60 EUR which was reasonable.
We booked for a couple of days later as we had friends arriving from the UK and we knew they would enjoy a good pizza. Obviously we were speaking English at the table and the waiter took it upon himself that were all tourists, he suggested we try a a plate or 2 of typical "starter" dishes, we obviously ordered pizza as well and shared a simple bottle of wine. As mentioned previously the pizza was good, but when we got the bill we were charged 50EUR alone for 4 plates of starters, we were amazed, they weren't anything significant, we were extremely disappointed, why try "trick" tourists, you honestly don't need to do it. I'm sure the waiter walked away smiling - "ah we shafted another set of dumb stupid tourists". I will highly recommend DO NOT VISIT this establishment unless you want to be shafted as a tourist.
We will be writing scathing reviews on trust-pilot, trip-advisor and being on the fork.it as well.
Please train your staff to respect tourists, and not try shaft them because you might not...
Read moreThe restaurant is just okay, but a lot of shortcomings. Nice decor and great layout of the restaurant, which at first impresses, when after being led to a table by the staff, it turns out that the restaurant is much larger than it seems, and there is a real cramped Italian atmosphere! Unfortunately, the spell is broken very soon when one notices that the glasses on the table are dirty or already badly damaged, and the restaurant's tiramisu is served in a plastic container. In addition, the requirement to order the same two dishes if you want to choose either pasta or risotto is problematic. We opted for risotto, but the portion for one person was so large that two identical dishes are excessive... The dishes were correct, but not very delicious. There seem to be plenty of waiters, but service does not go as smoothly as in other places. There is a bit of a wait for dishes, they are not served at the same time, we had to remind about the dessert we ordered earlier and go to the cash register to pay the bill by card. Rather, this is not one of those restaurants you want to return to. Still, a huge advantage is the extensive menu...
