CINQUE STELLE PIZZERIA RISTORANTE — Restaurant in Bari

Really good service from the very friendly lady working last night. Atmosphere was also quite nice and romantic inside the restaurant. Unfortunately the food was really quite poor. Pizza crust was totally unrisen and quite soggy in the center. Toppings on the capricciosa pizza seem to just be canned olives and mushrooms, not fresh ones. For the Ortolana pizza, the zucchini was just raw, thinly sliced and not grilled as pictured on their website ordering system. Neither pizza had much flavour and was sadly the worst pizza we've had in Italy in the 2+ weeks we've been traveling here. Also, they don't cut the pizza for takeaway. I know that many places do this in Italy, but how do they expect their customers to eat an uncut takeaway pizza? Finally, the chocolate cake was terrible. It was very dry and just didn't taste very good at all. Even packaged cakes from the supermarket are better. Quite a disappointing meal all...

Absolutely terrible experience. We came to this pizzeria hoping for a nice meal, but it was a disaster from the start. We waited over 20 minutes, and nobody even acknowledged us, let alone took our order. The staff was completely inattentive and disorganized.

The atmosphere was unbearable — loud, annoying music and people shouting across the room made it impossible to relax. It felt more like a chaotic bar than a restaurant. We eventually gave up and left without ordering.

Ho ordinato due pizze da asporto a pranzo e ho dovuto aspettare circa 25 minuti, un’attesa lunga considerando l’orario. La cameriera, molto gentile ma in evidente difficoltà, ha sbagliato a prendere l’ordine. Dopo che avevo già pagato con il POS, si è accorta dell’errore e ha emesso uno scontrino con un importo più alto rispetto al dovuto, perché aveva inserito pizze diverse da quelle richieste.

Alla fine ha corretto lo scontrino, ma le pizze che mi sono state preparate non erano comunque quelle che avevo ordinato. Inoltre, per restituirmi la differenza in contanti, c’è stata un’ulteriore attesa perché non riusciva a trovare la chiave della cassa.

Le pizze, oltre tutto, erano molto bruciate e dopo averle mangiate non mi sono sentita bene. Un’esperienza deludente sotto diversi aspetti. Non...
