I don't usually write reviews which makes me realize now the importance of leaving a good review when the food and service is fantastic. This however is not one of those and I write bit specifically to point out the staff's arrogant manners and sense of entitlement getting away with serving lousy food. We ordered two plates of breakfast size bruschetta (open sandwich type thing) - one with salmon and the other pesto and ham. The toppings were fresh and edible. The bruschetta which was a single large piece of bread was stone hard, appeared old and was not easy to slice. I want to point out here that amongst the Italian items tourists (non-italiqns) have most often eaten - Bruschetta tops the list I'd say which goes to say I've eaten enough of it to know if it's stale or if it's fresh. This one was less than average. I pointed that out to Mike, Carolina and Uddin (the staff - Mike being the manager) and Mike's rudeness and "Ya so?? So? It's hard to bite...So?? Im sorry" response was shocking. Also he insisted that Brsuchetta bread is like that almost wanting to make me look stupid. The guy was everything we call poor hospitality and "sod off if yoi dont like the food" kind of attitude towards customers. It was a bummer of a brunch...
Read moreI'd highly recommend avoiding this place. It had great reviews so we decided to give it a try.
We ordered coffee and toasts for brunch. The coffee was okay-ish but nothing great. For the toasts, and I underline, toasts, we had to wait around 40 minutes.
After waiting for 15 minutes, the waitress shouted at our table that they couldn't make my order specifically because they ran out of salmon. Again, she shouted from behind the counter and I had to get up and go to the counter so I could understand her. Later they still charged me for my original order.
The food itself was, unfortunately, a literal joke, a spit in our face. For 12 euros we got a piece of small, over-baked bread with one egg on top, 2 slices of tomatoes and literally no cheese. That's a full brunch offer.
They also forgot one item in our order and mixed up our order with another table, TWICE. No apologies.
We were extremely disappointed, especially after all the great reviews....
Read moreThe food we received was not what we had ordered. The item we requested was unavailable, but instead of informing us, the staff substituted it with something else without any notice. When we raised the issue, they seemed annoyed, questioned our claim, and asked us to double-check the menu. Despite the clear difference—what we were served was peanut butter, not caramel—they insisted it was correct. We had to firmly insist before they agreed to change it. We expected at least a small gesture, such as a discount on the bill or the service charge, but nothing...
