Eat here.. If you want to wait 45 minutes for two sandwiches. When pointed out that our food still hadn't arrived after 30 minutes, we were told it's because they make the food from the bottom. OK. Food arrived after 45 minutes, same excuse. It was clear they made a mistake and forgot the order, which can happen. Not a sorry, but instead they tried to talk their way out of it with a stupid excuse instead of owning up to the mistake.

EDIT after restaurant reply: Restaurant was not even half full, other people got the food faster. Again a stupid excuse instead of owning up to the mistake. Never in Italy have we had to wait this long for food, even food that is more prepared than a sandwich.. I guess people can make their own opinion...

Quite simply one of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of visiting over the last 20+ years travelling across Italy. Great value for money.

Exceptional service, fabulous live entertainment. The quality of the food is exceptional. Someone is placing a lot of attention into sourcing very fresh produce.

Special mention to Saba who was exceptional - great customer service. Whole place has a family feel to it. Hidden back from the tourist traps. Great team 5 stars.

Please God I’ll be back soon. Highly recommend the Octopus, it was truely divine. A great team work here and will come back to Bari, just to come here again.

In tempi covid e non, un locale senz'altro da evitare accuratamente per pulizia e maleducazione del personale. Ieri sera sono stata in questo locale in occasione di un compleanno, già appena entrati l'accoglienza è stata pessima poiché gestore e cameriere hanno commentato che entro la mezzanotte saremmo dovuti andare via. Erano le 22, rispondere in questo modo al "buonasera" del cliente è fuori luogo. Ma gli sgarbi non sono finiti lì, una volta seduti, ci hanno portato un paio di pacchetti di patatine, arachidi e taralli chiuse, ma senza altre ciotoline o cucchiaini per poter evitare di mettere tutti le mani nello stesso pacchetto, inutile dire che molti di noi hanno preferito non mangiare. Inoltre abbiamo dovuto assistere alle discipline del "tiro del menù appiccicoso", del "getto del cucchiaio" e del "lancio della cannuccia" da parte della cameriera che, nel tentativo, immagino e spero, di mantenere le distanze, giacché aveva la mascherina completamente abbassata, scaraventava sgraziatamente tutto quello che aveva a tiro, facendo finire le cannucce sui menù o direttamente sul tavolo, rendendole inutilizzabili causa igiene minimo in tempi covid. Ho chiesto pertanto una cannuccia ancora confezionata e il gestore mi ha guardata come se gli avessi chiesto di trovarmi il Santo Graal. Offeso dalla mia richiesta, poiché, immagino, si sia reso conto della scarsa igiene presentata, è tornato unicamente per dirmi che la mia era una "fisima" perché secondo lui il covid dalle cannucce sporche non mi avrebbe portato in terapia intensiva. Gli ho risposto che preferisco tenermi le mie fisime se questo significa vivere più a lungo. Inutile dire che né io né le altre persone al tavolo torneremo più qui, la terapia intensiva abbiamo deciso di evitarla a tutti i costi come questo locale. Cercheremo locali più attenti alle norme igieniche minime. Sono tra l'altro venuta a sapere che il gestore e la proprietaria del locale anzichè riflettere per migliorare negano che questi eventi siano mai successi dando dei bugiardi ai clienti.. senza parole...
