Pepo, Lucaneria & Piazza — Local services in Bari

Metto 2 stelle e non una perché non ho da ridire sulla qualità degli ingredienti (quei pochi che ho potuto testare). Per il resto, esperienza deludente: dopo aver scelto dal menu due birre e due panini tipici lucani (in un posto che fa soprattutto questo) e aver atteso molto più del tempo sufficiente per fare un semplice controllo in dispensa, ci vengono portate le birre ma ci dicono che purtroppo il pane è finito, sia per panini che per bruschette. Onestamente io non sapevo che altro prendere, e abbiamo letteralmente "ripiegato" su una cacio e pepe modesta che ci è stata proposta dal cameriere e un piatto di affettati (che non era assolutamente nei nostri desideri). Solo che per educazione, una volta che ci hanno servito le birre non abbiamo ritenuto corretto alzarci e andare da un'altra parte. Ho trovato scorretto questo loro comportamento, senza contare che almeno avrebbero potuto portare le due pietanze più o meno simultaneamente, anche per scusarsi, invece il mio compagno ha a mangiato la cacio e pepe da solo e io altrettanto sola i miei affettati, serviti più di un quarto d'ora dopo. Tutto questo per me è sintomo di poco mestiere. Puoi anche finire il pane (e già vuol dire che non hai calcolato granché bene, considerato che erano solo le 22 della domenica sera), ma non puoi informarne il cliente una volta che hai portato le birre. Forse sono agli inizi e hanno margini di miglioramento, e glielo auguro, ma personalmente...

The platter of cold cuts and cheese was awful. The waitress had no clue what she was doing. She made half our order wrong. She brought us the wrong wine and sparkling water when we asked for still. When i told her, she ironically told us sorry and didnt bring us the correct order. AWFUL EXPERIENCE DO NOT GO THERE. ESPECIALLY FOR THE FEMALE WAITER SHE WAS...

Thought this was a good place. But the guy at the till was rude. We were a group of 3 and we each got a cocktail. We wanted to pay for each of our drinks but we couldn't because apparently they need to pay tax. It was just inconvenient for us as one of us had to pay the whole bill. Just keep this in mind before coming here...
