Martinucci is an ideal spot for dessert lovers, especially if you’re looking to take a break from the lively hustle and bustle of Bari. Service: The waiter was attentive and offered excellent recommendations—far exceeding my initial expectations. Price: I paid €7 for an Americano and a slice of cake (excluding tips), which I found to be reasonable given the quality and ambiance. Food: Beyond an impressive array of ice creams and classic desserts, they also cater to those who prefer savory options, offering a surprisingly diverse menu for non-sweet eaters. Recommendations: • Definitely try their signature desserts or gelato—it’s their specialty. • If you’re not into sweets, their savory options are worth exploring. • Plan your visit during quieter hours to fully enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Overall, Martinucci is a great place to indulge, whether you have a sweet tooth or prefer something savory.

The first time I visited this chain I LOVED it - it offered the best ice cream and sandwiches which I’d had. But this time when I returned I had a horrible experience - I checked the menu out on the app and showed the waiter the specific sandwich which I wanted. He delivered the food and immediately requested payment. I then took a bite of the sandwich and quickly realised it wasn’t what I ordered, so I asked the waiter and he said ‘we didn’t have what you wanted so I gave you something else’ and that was it. This is awful customer service - you can’t just give the customer something else if it’s not what they asked for, and then charge the customer full price for the item they didn’t even want. To add on top of this, the toilet door doesn’t lock and there’s no toilet roll.

Great Spot in the Heart of Bari ☕️🍦 If you’re wandering around the heart of Bari and need a break, this café is a fantastic choice. It’s a spacious, two-story spot, so there’s plenty of room to sit and relax. What I loved most is that they have air conditioning inside, which is a lifesaver, especially on those hot Italian afternoons. There’s ample seating, so finding a comfy spot wasn’t an issue. The staff here are really friendly and made me feel welcome right away. And let’s talk about the treats—absolutely delicious! The ice cream is to die for, and the coffee is exactly what you’d hope for in Italy. Perfect place to recharge before continuing your exploration of the city.

I am basing my rating off of the behaviour of the bald employee behind the icecream counter on the 28th April 2024 at 2.50 pm. I was here as a guest of a food tour and our guide had vouchers from the agency. He got into the line for ice cream but was ignored until he had to comment on how the employee actively served other customers behind him in line. The employee then said he had to go to the counter and get a number, so our guide waited again in line. When it was his turn the employee behind the cash counter was irritated because he doesn't need a number (the ice cream is also already paid for) and send him back. Another employee behind the ice cream counter finally served our tour guide. It was obvious to me that the initial employee knew it because the tour guide comes here regularly. This incident prolonged our waiting approximately by 20-25 minutes just because said employee decided to act said way which is sad. I will personally stay away from this ice cream parlor due to his behaviour. I also recommend the city tour agency to change to a more professional subcontractor due to...

We (2 persons) have visited this place to have a coffee and some ice cream. We checked the menu which is available via QR Code, which is incomplete. Couldn’t find still water in the menu. The website also implied that we could order online - we couldn’t. So we waited for a waiter. After 5 minutes of 2 waiters running back and forth, we asked them if we could order. Order has been taken, the person was friendly. We ordered ice cream (2 scoops), coffee and still water. The ice cream was super good (passion fruit and lemon). The coffee tastes good, but was too small. The water was disgusting. I suggest anyone to skip the water at this place and go to the next fountain. When I saw another guy comping out this place with a cone and one spoon of ice cream, I realized that I paid 5€ for half the amount of ice cream than this guy had on a 1 spoon cone. The food was delivered quite rough. Just a little harder and the coffee would have...
