This was my easily favorite meal during our time in Bari. It was recommended by a pair of locals and panzerotti was on the menu. If you've never had panzerotti, think the airiness of a fried pasty and the heft of a calzone filled with your choice of the freshest ingredients possible. We (there were three of us) each ordered 2 panzerotti - and that was more than enough food. Each one cost between €2.50 to €5.00. We got 2 beers and a Coca Cola for a total of €4.50 (each being €1.50). We spent €25 in total for the three of us.
