The Wizard Of Pizza — Restaurant in Bari

Sorry to say but big dissapointment. We came to this restaurant with friends about a month ago because it was close to our accomodation and we were walking past it every day. The food looked delicious and it smelled good across the street! We wanted to visit a local restaurant with family and friendly atmosphere so we saved this restaurant for the last day of our stay (also because of the good reviews on google). It turned out to be a total dissapointed unfortunately and mainly because of the treatment we got as non italian speakers. First thing, it was impossible to communicate. My first language isn’t english too but I think the basic knowledge is so important. The second thing and the most terrible thing was getting a touristic menu with prices twice as high as on the big board for italians. We may be tourists, but we are not dumb. The last straw was when we asked if they had pasta or any other thing in menu except pizza and they said no. So we left because we felt very unwelcomed here. It is sad because we didnt even get to the food but the service towards non italian speakers made us leave even though I bet the food is very very good. To the owners: I strongly recommend changing attitude towards tourists, usually they plan to spend a lot of money but you dont need to charge them twice as high! It is sad because if it was a good experience I would recommend this restaurant to my friends when they go to Bari. Also its good to have basic knowledge in english, but its not necessary if the customer feels welcomed and we definitely didnt...

Locale trascurato, vecchio, spartano, piccolo con tavoli anche all'aperto praticamente per strada. L'interno puzza di fritto. D'estate non accendono i condizionatori aprono le porte e si muore di caldo. Cameriere scorbutico. Antipasti non di qualità: i salumi sono conservati in maniera non corretta perché il colore é scuro e i giorni successivi sono stato male di stomaco. Prezzo caro 25 euro per menu con antipasti anni 90 e di qualità pessima. Impasto della pizza gommoso, mozzarella insipida....

Nie mój klimat, miałam poleconą tę restauracje, dwie próby zjedzenia czegoś (restauracja mimo godzin informacji, że otwarta - była zamknięta)

Głośno, "amerykańsko" , brak włoskiej atmosfery czy wyglądu. Nie zjadłam nic, gdyż wyszlam ( pierwszy raz takie coś zrobiłam, że zdecydowałam się usiąść i potem zrezygnowałam- ale nie czułam się tam dobrze), więc nie będę oceniać jedzenia:) jedynie powiem, że na pewno to nie miejsce na romantyczną kolację czy chęć dłużej...
